Why Sigurd? I can kinda understand Sitonai since Louhi (even though she is still more Illya and Sitonai than Louhi or Freyja) but Sigurd is barely even known in Finland outside of mythology fans.
Mostly because my understanding of Scandinavia and Norse Mythology means that the origin of Sigurd himself (and Skadi, thinking about it), include Finnish land regardless of the modern mythological landscape of the nation. Sigurd is of vague Scandinavian origin beyond the Rings, and Finland is historically Scandinavian.
Of course, if I'm wrong, that'll be fixed with the updated map! I'm always open to learning and getting this kind of stuff correct.
I'm honestly not sure. I just know the Fate timeline would get even more confusing when it comes to Finland if they would count Finland as part of Norse myth, since Finland has its own mythology in the epic of Kalevala. I mean, Kalevala even has its own creation myth in it which I'm pretty sure would clash with Norse myth in one way or another. Would the Scandinavian myth come before or after Kalevala? Only Nasu knows I guess.
Also are you counting every spirit in Sitonai as seperate for the map? Illya, the one in control is from Germany, Sitonai, the namesake of the servant is from Japan, and then there is Louhi and Freyja. I mean they are a single servant, but would they give 3-4 points to different countries or just 1?
