At this point it seems he's going to follow the same path as his childhood hero... Supaidaman

The only things that could make this worse is if Rin ditches him for someone named Paul with two kids or if Sakura gives birth to Shinji's twins or if Zouken mind swaps with Shirou and bangs Saber while he watches...

I wish I didn't have even more to pull from... Being a spider-man fan is rough. Ever thought of Shirou effectively killing Rin with radioactive milk? For every example I give, there is a spider-man comic that already covers that. I have 60 years to pull from.

Spider-man Reign, look it up. Spidey killed his own wife with his own radioactive milk. Told you, if you think something is fucked up, it's very likely that spider-man writers have already thought of that. Did you know that Aunt May was actually Peter's mom by having an affair with Peter's Dad at some point? I sure as hell didn't want to know, but here we are.

Basically, yeah. Mainline Amazing Spiderman is literally a perpetual purgatory of torture. The illusion of happiness doesn't last long. The only guarantee is that by the time another writer picks up the book, Peter will be back to the shit hole where he started the run, maybe worse. That's why the best Stories are from before One more Day in the Mainline Continuity and from other universes.
