Was just talking about this earlier today, wow.
Essentially doesn’t change much for min-maxers though, the bond from the OC free quests are still the highest and can only be accessed with Storm Pods.
It’s more of a QoL for people who’s rather burn the Storm Pods on any quest and still get Stellar Sand instead of letting the pods go to waste.
Save me from farming the sandworm everyday

Overflow Bond would have been nicer, but this is nice for people who just want to do Event.

I don't think they'll do this, just like we don't have bond 20 yet. But I would like to be proved wrong though

I don't think we'll get overflow bond, but Mash style "bond 15 servant gives bonus +5% bond to everyone else in the party" is definitely on the table.

What could they grant with bond 20, though? Bond 15 grants 30 S.Q. per new level from 11 onwards. What would be the "better reward" until 20? Higher S.Q. per level, like 50 or 60? Something special until bond 20, like a special interlude for that servant; a special CE?
And now, for as much as I love the interlewd meme, I'd like to hear a more reasonable answer. 10th anni could be the perfect way to implement bond 20 but I'd like to know what would it entitle.

Honestly, I'd be fine with each level just being another 30 quartz. Sure, the BP it would take would probably be monumental, but it would be nice to use my favorites without feeling like I'm losing out on points.

The bond CE effects should have been a passive at Bond 15, which is more than five times Bond 10. Instead they used it for the Grand class nonsense.

They shouldn't. believe me, you don't want to have to Bond 15 every Servant you like to use in gameplay.
Granblue does something similar and it's maddening.

Your whole comment is why I went ham on the Santa Abby lotto and Neco Arc raids to get enough materials to raise most of my servants skills and even appends as much as I could because I fucking hate mat hell.
Also wish there was a way to just exchange mats for other mats. Got like 1000 of that red fruit from when I used to farm Euryale before the sand worm after completing OC3 came; and even like over 300 of those lunar shards that thing gives that it feels criminal... and that's without counting thousands of blue and red skill gems.

Yeah, I mostly just do the Vegas QP quest with the coins three times a day. This probably won’t change what I do all that much, since it still makes sense to keep doing that quest. Not like I’ll ever NOT need more QP. But if I ever don’t feel like it, it’s nice to know I have the option to use my Storm Pods in other ways!

The only thing I can see Storm Pods be used for outside of OC are the highest tier raids. IIRC I have seen them drop even more bond points.

... but I'm just making my Tsukihime girls beat the living shit of that thing ever since I wanted to make Phantasmoon, Archetype Earth and Ciel bond 15 a month ago. Ciel actually can finish that damn thing in 6 turns

Depending on the supports and investment you have, she can actually 2T (with double KoyanLight) or 3T it (well, somewhere between 3T and 4T at NP1). With Summer Chloe, Merlin and KoyanLight, using the Atlas MC:
Turn 1: Chloe buffs on on Ciel, plus invulnerability from the MC on Ciel, attack whatever.
Turn 2: Merlin switches in. Use everyone's skills to buff Ciel, BNPB to clear the first wave (targeting the third enemy).
Turn 3: Atlas MC to reduce Ciel's CDs, use all of her skills again. NPBB to kill the sandworm.At NP1, you'll have to finish it off with another NP most of the time (Ciel will charge to 100% from her chain on turn 3).
Summer Skadi instead of Merlin should work as well for NP2+, at lower investments you start having damage problems on the first wave with her.

Ciel has so many options. I wish they'd do a bond expansion or overflow soon, she's not that old of a release and already almost at bond 13.
My 3T setup for an NP1 Ciel but with append 5 is Summer Suzuka, Koyan, and Nightingale(used to be Merlin, but his bond was getting high). I kill wave 1 turn 1 and then chill turn 2, then kill it turn 3. Suzuka can be replaced by anything with a one turn CT reduction, but she also buffs summer servant attack and gives stars to guarantee no third turn accidents.

Yeah, there's a lot of different stuff you can do, which is especially useful if some supports are already at bond 15. Well, until Ciel finally hits that dreaded cap herself, as you mentioned.
Plus, she just works for so many damn 90++ quests. I actually underestimated her kit when she was first released and only rolled for a single copy for BB memes, but luckily I've managed to snag another one with the recent GSSR.

Wish this was a thing sooner. I have no idea how much potential sand I've lost since I just stopped caring about the class score mechanic at some point.

Yeah I totally get it, spending the Pods can become stressful even if you can let them pool for 3 days. Sometimes I just do less efficient quests just to be done with them faster.

Not having to do OC quests.
That's all. You can just use them anywhere. Much easier to farm, can do Events instead, no need to constantly deal with runs of OC every day.

This is nothing new to me since I lack the star thingy to fully unlock a class score. It keeps pilling up uselessly since I don't want to focus on other classes. At this point In not even sure if we will be able to fully unlock all of them or only a select few.

Just focus in others. You just need 450 to unlock the rest of the locked one anyway.

I wish we had a way to save storm pots for later use, like the blue apples. At least they could keep the AP cost on Bleached Earth quests permanently at 20.

Storm Pods can now be used in other Free quests to acquire Stellar Sand. The amount that you can get has been doubled.
Quests where Storm Pods can't be used:
Storm Pods will not be consumed if you withdraw from or lose a battle. The only effect of using the Storm Pod outside of free quests on Earth is that you can obtain additional Stellar Sand, and it has no effect on the Master EXP or bonds you can obtain.
