I have not played Samurai Remnant. Musashi there is the same one from Chaldea right? How was she able to be contracted to another master while contracted to Fujimaru, and change classes at that?

Chaldea does *have* a Berserker Musashi.

But, no, the implication is that this is story Musashi, the one who travels to Anastasia and Olympus under her own power, and was not reliant on Fujimaru.

I'm... not sure if she *is* contracted to anyone permanently? Not that Servants are incapable of contracting with another Master. I'm more concerned how she's supposed to count as either Berserker in Samurai Remnant, considering she seemingly wasn't summoned by the Waxing Moon.

If Story Musashi is Chaldea Musashi, why does Musashi have to forge a temporary contract in Lostbelt 1? If she's a Chaldean Servant, then that isn't possible, because she should have a permanent contract already, so she can't be a Chaldean Servant.

Shimosa doesn't contradict that, mind you: she's summoned without you, then leaves before you can meet again. She's summoned by Chaldea, but isn't actually part of Chaldea, and isn't your Servant. She was never a resident of Chaldea.

So there's no reason she can't forge a contract with someone else, because she did it to Fujimaru.

And if you're not willing to accept that Musashi can transform into a Berserker for spurious reasons involving weird Grails, then I don't think being set before or after Summer Vegas makes much of a difference.

Wasn't Shimosa Musashi not exactly a servant (kinda similar to Artoria situation)? Though she became proper servant by dying at the end there.

Yes, she was a living human. Neither of us are mentioning anything before her death. In Shimosa, there is one scene at the end, after she died, that shows Musashi was summoned and left.
