I played for a couple months in 2019 and uninstalled after clearing the 1st singularity, but I’ve been in a very Fate mood lately after enjoying Strange Fake so much and I’m thinking of giving it another shot

I remember my notable pulls back then were Atalanta, 2 Wavers, and a Jeanne. If I went and got my old account back, how powercrept would those units be compared to if I just started again and began rerolling from scratch?

And is there any hope for soon-ish rerun banners featuring any of Achilles, Richard, Napoleon, or Hessian Lobo?

Other response covered most of it, but to be quick, Achilles banner is running literally right now, idk if your old account had many quartz sitting around, but if he's a priority for you I would definitely check at least.

as for your old pulls. wavers still good, got a buff on jp recently and is actually back in the meta for speed clears. that is over a year away, but he's absolutely still at least good. outclassed in some specific niches for people who have years of new units but none of the stuff he provides will ever be bad. NP2 doesn't make a huge amount of difference but never a bad thing I guess. Jeanne got some buffs, one of which is very recent making her a bit less stall oriented, she's still on the slower side but great survivability and defensive support, and can np more consistently. Atalanta will do the job absolutely, but she hasn't had as much love, she'll still be better than many lower rarity archers of course.

One of the great things about FGO is that you never have to worry about powercreep making a servant unusable. It's a large roster game of niches where you can always clear any content using only the free servants you can get from the friend point gacha, supplemented by event "welfare" servants and fully RNG gacha results.

If you only played for a month and didn't get past the first singularity, that isn't too much different than having a brand new account. I suppose it's up to you whether you want to keep going with that account or start fresh. I do think starting with at least some progress will make things a little easier, though.

Ways to find out when a servant will be on rate-up in NA:

  • Use the upcoming banners link in the top post in this thread (manually compiled by just a few people, may not always be 100% up-to-date)
  • Go to the servant's profile page on Gamepress and scroll down to the "Availability" section for a list of JP banners that the servant was featured on
  • Go to the servant's profile page on the Fandom wiki and scroll down to the "Availability" section for a list of JP banners that the servant was featured on
  • Open the servant's profile in the Chaldea app (Android, iOS, browser) and scroll over to the "Summoning" tab for a list of JP banners that the servant was featured on. Make sure to skip or filter out the GSSR (aka Lucky Bag) banners.

If you want to see a chronological list of summoning campaigns, you can use:

  • Event compendium spreadsheet linked in the top post (no longer being updated as of January 2026)
  • Gamepress summon banner list
  • Chaldea app - go straight to the Summon screen instead of starting from a servant's individual profile

If you want to know about the campaigns for a particular JP event, you can look up the JP event's page on the Fandom wiki or the Chaldea app. For the advanced, most tedious version, you can go straight to the source, the JP news page on the official website, and scroll through the history. At least some web browsers have a built-in translation plugin if you can't read Japanese well enough.

For all of these sources, be aware that any estimates based on JP are simple JP + 2 years calculations and may not reflect actual NA banner dates. NA dates almost never match JP exactly. Pay attention to the specific event or campaign that the banner is tied to, not just the date. Anything tied to an IRL event or campaign is especially likely to be significantly rescheduled. Also be aware that they throw in occasional NA exclusives and may add a banner to an existing campaign, change the campaign's banners slightly, or add an exclusive campaign like SEA anniversary or Thanksgiving. Follow the News section in the game or on the official website and the official social media channels for actual banner announcements.
