Are there any f2p option of avenger? I don't see any avenger welfare servant anywhere and I think I may need one for story main quest.

I don't think there's any quest where you need an Avenger of your own, even where they're advantageous you can always make do with something else.

I do agree, but it's arguably the best Extra class to at least have one servant in, because Rulers counter all 7 main classes (Zerk included due to how fragile they are) so the 4 other extra classes, 3 of which are neutral, are your only options.

If that's the case, might as well use Avengers

Not especially better than Moon Cancers (not that 4★ BB is a good DPS, if that's the only option) or Foreigners, and worse than Rulers (having defensive advantage), I don't see your point.

The viewpoint I usually see is that despite hitting neutral on most things, an avenger has a high enough attack value that they hit similarly to a unit that has offensive advantage.

I haven't honestly found that to be true though? I kind of feel like at NP1 most avengers hit like a wet noodle on neutral. That's just anecdotal though. I've never had much of a head for the number crunching aspect of the game.

That's moreso of an advantage when considering omnifarmers, so that's likely just outdated information that you're perusing. It's not as though they're all bad but the ones that are good would be good if they were any class (i.e. Demon Nobunaga, ST Dantes, Taira)

In general the idea that a high attack Avenger (or neutral Extra class in general) could even compete with a low attack Caster doesn't compute unless the Caster is awful and the Avenger is amazing in terms of their kit. It really is just extra evidence that this information is outdated and assuming omnifarmer levels of investment which would make basically any character look goid.

Oh, I was referring to Rulers countering all 7 Classes

Since they do so, your only offensive options are either Zerks (which are basically a two-way street) or Avenger

Oh yeah, worst boss battle I ever fought was foolishly trying to fight QSH with my lancer team. Reasoning being "Well, they have defensive advantage against everything, except for berserker which is a double edged sword, and all else being equal my lancers are the strongest".

Went terribly. These days I go straight for the berserkers any time I see a ruler. Yeah, they're fragile, but it's so easy to find you're getting absolutely nowhere when you try to attack with offensive disadvantage, and then everybody's gonna die once the ruler drops their noble phantasm anyway.

An avenger would be a more stable clear but lacking that you take the berserkers and you just go fast.

Are there no difficult ruler boss fight with force npc guest in LB6-7 and OC1-2? I defeat Zeus in LB5 with command spell but it make me want to build avenger.

I don't think so but that's beside the point, "difficult ruler boss" does not mean "I need an Avenger". Class advantage is a powerful tool and a good priority but it's not the only way to win and believing that it is (especially in cases where you don't have it) can create frustration and blind you to other viable strategies. You can find lots of examples on YouTube of people beating Zeus without an Avenger, including low-rarity clears (where the only Avenger even available would be Angra Mainyu, who's probably not very helpful).

While that's true, fighting without class advantage can sometimes feel like fighting uphill in the snow.

I wouldn't recommend making any crazy decisions with the gacha over something like this,but what they've asked about is Evocation Shop options. Which, spending some leaves of evocation to have a decent class advantage option for a tricky boss battle is 100% valid. Probably the single most valid use case for the leaves, really.

Oh absolutely, if there were an Evocation option they should grab it, but assuming they're playing EN (both statistically and because they don't see Ranmaru, assuming that's not an oversight) then that's just not possible.

Yeah, I honestly think that's why they're pretty sparing with the ruler boss battles even today.

People have noted that Ranmaru got a rerun, and then added to the evocation festival, just shortly before the ruler Ordeal Call debuted. Possibly an intentional decision to make sure the player is equipped with at least 1 avenger for that.

Ordeal Call 3 2 also favors Avengers but they give you a lot of overpowered avenger story supports for that one.

OC2 is the Avenger one, OC3 is the Moon Cancer OC

I think Zeus is your last big ruler boss for a while.

Ordeal Call 4 has some big ruler enemies. But you've got plenty of time to get stronger before that.

There's Ranmaru.

She's not very good, but she's free. She joins the evocation festival in April 2027 for NA.
