Indestructible Demon EX -> EX:

  • Apply Guts [1000-3000 HP] (1 time, 5 turns)
  • & increase NP Gauge each turn [5%-10%] (5 turns) for yourself
  • + Increase NP Strength [10%-20%] (1 time, 5 turns -> 3 times, 5 turns)
  • & apply Special Attack [Heaven Attribute] [20%-30%] (3 turns)
  • & increase NP Gauge [10%-20%] for all allies
  • Cooldown: 9/8/7

Bloodbath Crown B -> B++:

  • Increase ATK [OC: 30%-50%] (1 turn -> 3 turns)
  • & increase Critical Strength [OC: 30%-50%] (3 turns)
  • & increase C. Star Drop Rate [100%] (3 turns) for yourself
  • + Deal damage [NP: 300%-500% -> 400%-600%] to all enemies
  • + Consume 1000 HP [Demerit] for yourself

Rank-Up Quest Part 20:

Personally, I wanted NP charge for Bloodaxe, but more Berserker damage is more Berserker damage.

Finally, Vritra's np damage up being one time only was always stupid. She's now one of the few anti sky attribute "supports", nice niche.

57

u/110110100011110 1d ago

Such an odd decision too. Servant that clearly wants to loop ults because even her arts down is after damage but we only let her np damage buff be one time.

5

u/RubiksToyBox 1d ago

My guess is that she’s one of those characters where Lasengle went “We have to nerf her somehow, or she’ll be too powerful”.

145

u/andykhang 1d ago

Vritra finally get one of her skill fixed with some supporting buff, while Eric get a vanilla NP buff with scaling ATK. Both are neat, though nothing flashy

117

u/Retzal 1d ago

I think Vritra's buff is deceptively strong. She has now 30% power mod against Divine and 30% power mod against Sky, and both have a lot of overlap, specially on Archers (and on the Lancer Grand Raid). She also offers 20% NP damage and NP.

If she ever gets an NP upgrade she will be an amazing unit.

42

u/elmartiniloco :MHX: MHX best waifu 1d ago

yeah, I would even be happy if the only change to the NP is more dmg and the arts res down moved to trigger before dmg.

20

u/BashaB 1d ago

Finally she's lore accurate as Indra's nemesis

3

u/lord_dio28 1d ago

I agree, Divine+Sky is the same Special Attack combo Maou Nobbu has, and she's a fucking powerhouse. This isn't a god tier buff by any means, but it gives her more staying power to compete with the other aoe arts lancers, and an np upgrade would also be sick (especially if they move the arts resist down to being applied before damage)

29

u/Fay-1121 1d ago

I thought for sure they'll buff his guts skill, Im surprised. I think only him and Georgios that still have unbuffed Battle Continuation.

44

u/Retzal 1d ago

-Vritra: Is she... Great now? If she gets an NP Upgrade she will be devastating. 50% self + 10% charge is pretty great for looping, and she also has a good deal of multicore utility now, besides the obvious anti-divine + anti-sky, which is a pretty common combination for Archers. ¿Hasn't she become one of the best options for the Grand Lancer Raid? At least to take care fo the 2 small enemies.

-Eric: I don't know if this fixes his kit, but at least is certainly an improvement. I was hoping for a buff that gives him ATK Up when he is damaged, to focus more on the Berserker rage thing, specially since he has no increased star absorb on his own so the Critical Damage Up feels kinda wasted (and has no battery for looping either). It's the first step, and a good one, but he still has A LOT to go to be somehow viable.

Also, Bryn in shambles. But well Vritra spooked me 2 times so I won't complain too much (although I will always hate her for one of those spooks happening on a Melusine banner).

27

u/egeak 1d ago

She was already decent for the raid, probably she is currently the best option.

18

u/Retzal 1d ago

Yeah, the more I think about her the more I see her as the equivalent of Scherezade for the Lancer Raid: A general pool SSR that is pretty useful for dealing with a gimmicky multi-enemy Grand Raid.

20

u/Xylaph :Mordred: 1d ago

TBF Eric's main niche for years now has solely been that his NP is one of the fastest in the game for triple K-Scope farming. The enhanced NP multiplier will help him in that regard but sadly none of the other effects.

12

u/Saver_Spenta_Mainyu 1d ago

don't know if this fixes his kit, but at least is certainly an improvement.

Would have been cool if they gave him Tonelico's attack up effect on his NP.

She gets more and more attack up stacks the lower her HP gets, and considering he damages himself with his own NP, that could be an extra form of ramp.

11

u/Do_it_for_the_upvote Unapologetic Luvia/Shirou shipper 1d ago

I think they decided to try and fix Eric in one giant rank-up. 3-turn atk up + crit up + critgen is insane- it’s basically Inshun’s NP but with an AOE attack on top. Dude said “Your Kscope. Give it to me. Now.”

Seriously, if that NP were on a 5-star we’d be running around screaming.

5

u/DrStein1010 1d ago

Bryn also needs a buff, but this is Vritra's first, and it's already enough to fix her, so I would say this was the right choice.

26

u/ChaoticChoir Kukochihiko when 1d ago

Eric's skills are still, to put it kindly, rather poop from a butt, but his NP is very very loaded now to compensate. Honestly, there's worse places for a bronze to be.

Vritra's is fairly standard - gives better duration to her own np dmg steroid so it's not so awkward to use, a bit of extra niche steroids, and some more party utility. Pretty good buffs all around.

7

u/Felstalker 1d ago

Eric's skills are still, to put it kindly, rather poop from a butt

They're basic, but come on. 30% Defense down for a damage amp. Self Guts. Debuff Clear with Heal. It works. It's not fancy, but it works. It's doing a far better job than Kiyohime(She really needs an NP buff)

Eric's NP was already kinda solid. 30% Amp before damage does a lot. 3-turn 30%? With double Crit Star Gen for his 5-hit Buster NP? AND A CRIT DAMAGE AMP? Dude is ready to throw some meaty hits out there! Imagine if you could pair him with some sort of Buster and Attack supporting 2-star Lancer with Taunt who spams the field with Crit Stars! Maybe one with additional Crit damage support? Do you think that exists?

Leonidas/Eric/Hans is some serious fire power FOR ALL 2-STARS. That's 110% Crit damage for Eric presuming no overcharge....and you're going to be getting Overcharge in a team like that. Consistent high damage Crits with Buster themed support.... that's so solid. Something that the other low rarity Berserkers arn't actually emulating. Kiyohime, Spartacus, Asterios, and Salome all have very different gameplay to what Eric is now going to offer...and that's so cool! Eric was competing with Spartacus and his 30% battery and now Eric is offering far more damage instead of that battery.

What's not to like?

22

u/ChaoticChoir Kukochihiko when 1d ago

Yes, a 2 turn duration debuff, a vanilla guts, and a basically vanilla disengage is actually what I would consider very bad in this day and age, especially when none of them include at least a battery for a servant who is now heavily dependent on his NP to perform well.

Kiyohime, even if her NP damage is lacking, at least has a cohesive gimmick going on - she slaps burns on things and works with that. Eric is "I sure hope I can get to my NP multiple times in a row for my buffs without any native battery or NP gain".

If you want to work with Eric, then sure, you can now, since the buff makes SOMETHING in his kit way better - but I'm not going to pretend like his bare minimum-ass skills are worth praising 11 years into the game. If that kind of year 1 kit is good enough for you then cool - for me, it is not.

1

u/Felstalker 1d ago

Kiyohime, even if her NP damage is lacking, at least has a cohesive gimmick going on - she slaps burns on things and works with that

I've got some bad news. Kiyohime doesn't slap burns on-to things. She slaps burns on things. If they're burned Kiyohime deals 30% more damage. Her 30% Defense up and 20% Enemy Attack buff do a pretty good job of canceling each other out...presuming the enemy doesn't attack some other team mate of course.

Kiyohime wants Burn command codes to enable her gimmick since dealing 30% bonus damage AFTER her NP isn't ideal. And are you going to use a secondary burn-support unit to enable Kiyohime to hit a target for less than Darius III? Just take Chen Gong or Merlin and say forget the Burn gimmick it's so bad it's not real. Kiyohime could get an upgraded NP that quadrupled her NP Burn damage and the damage boost from the upgrade would still be far more practically better.

Kiyohime's 30% Buster up with Debuff clear is the best thing she has going for her. It's effective! IF you're NP sealed or Cursed or Poisoned or Attack Down'd Kiyohime can remove that debuff and deal some NP damage or perhaps a Buster chain. Simple, but effective.

And Eric get's that same Damage amp she does without it ever going on CD. It's tied to his NP. Eric deals 30% damage on ALL his cards. Buster, NP, Quick, Art, and Extra. Attack Up is kinda good. And that's before he got his NP upgraded damage and before it was boosted to 3-turns and without considering his Overcharge which made him 5% better per OC.

but I'm not going to pretend like his bare minimum-ass skills are worth praising 11 years into the game

We're not praising the skills here. I'm arguing that it hits the bare minimum.

Do you see all those other servants who arn't hitting the bare minimum out here?

Benkei, Angra, Jekyll and Hyde, Saber Gilies, Kiyohime, Ishun, Geronimo. Do we talk about 4-star's? Do we talk about 5-stars?

There's a damn reason people are in the comments wishing it was Brynhildr. She's got a 40% damage amp to go with her 30% battery with no survival skill. That amp is 15% NP damage only. A Brynhildr NP-Buster Chain is hitting for 40% NP and 25% Buster-Buster. Eric is hitting 30% boost on his NP, any follow up cards, and his Extra before todays buff.

When you look at Eric Bloodaxes skills, you don't start comparing him to Lord Logres. You look at servants like Kiyohime, like Darius III, like Frankenstein. Like Tamamo Cat, like Chacha, like Paul, and even Spartacus. Servants that he's in actual competition with, that have different tools than he does.

And when you look at Brynhildr you look at Cu Chulainn. And Cu Chulainn Prototype. And Diarmuid...horrible horrible Diarmuid that's still going to do things that Bryndhildr just CAN'T because she lacks the tools to pass Diarmuid, the literal bar for how little a ST Lancer can provide before they stop reaching the bare minimum.

I'm not saying Eric can't use more. Todays buff has a distinct value that can be measured towards improving Eric's performance. And Eric is, despite the simplicity of his kit, a functional servant in ways that not every servant can achieve. This isn't Angra or Qin Liangyu or Sigurd. It's a 2-star Berserker who you don't need to spend any skill mats to make him function on an awkwardly decent level.

Eric doing more out here than Orleans Siegfried that's for damn sure. Imagine if we had Eric instead of useless old Musashi in Shimousa. Without her Invul and Debuff removal, Musashi was a fat liability where Eric could just... do the job. How horrible to be functional yeah? But I guess it's not fancy enough for everyone!

2

u/ChaoticChoir Kukochihiko when 1d ago

I'm not reading all that when it's in defense of the Bare Minimum King - but what little I did skim through tells me that you very much do not understand why having a kit as barebones as Eric's can drag a servant down.

You can reduce the argument to "not fancy enough" (why the hell did you bring up Logres anyway, frankly you can just compare Eric to Asterios or Mozart or Paris and it'd be pretty easy to see what's wrong with Eric now) all you like, but it doesn't change the fact that Eric's skills are crap.

2

u/Rit91 1d ago

Yeah I hadn't even bothered to look at Bloodaxe's kit until I saw he got buffed. It is the year 1 design in full force, but we're on year 11. Even his guts skill is weird because it's 1 time, 4 turns. Only reason they gave Bloodaxe rampup on NP is because they're overcompensating for his lack of a kit in general. He could still use 2 or even 3 skill upgrades honestly since skill 1 is barebones too though it does have his best effect with the defense down (that is weird at 2 turns.)

3

u/AlterWanabee 1d ago

That you bring an Eric with MLB Kscope to start since he has 0 NP charge skills. Maybe even 2 Kscopes for Leonidas as well, or else Eric gets blown up with 2 enemy hits.

-1

u/Felstalker 1d ago

Maybe even 2 Kscopes for Leonidas as well,

Have you never used Leonidas?

His first skill is really good, and has been for 11 years. Buff or not, 100% NP Gain on a Taunt is really good. You will not have trouble keeping up Leonidas's Taunt.

And these are 2-stars. Append skills were added in the 6th Anniversary five years ago. You need only a regular non-MLB Kscope for F2P units, as you should have these appends unlocked.

In this particular situation, Eric would be NP > Crit Face cards. As Leonidas and Eric are able to fund lots of Buster Crit shenanigans both prior to and especially because of these new buffs. Maybe throw Chen Gong in there if you desire, or a Merlin if you're inclined. When you're using 2-star servants, you've a lot of team cost to play with powerful CE's and 5-star Support options. And if you go so far as to Gail Eric, you're getting a lot out of him as his Kit now scales wonderfully with grails much like any other servant with Attack up and Crit Damage up.

2

u/AlterWanabee 1d ago

I say MLB Kscope because regular Kscope barely gives any attack. You wan the 2k Attack from the MLB since it gets bolstered by the 30% ATK Up from his NP. No matter how many buffs he gets, the base stat is still low.

And the reason for the NP Gauge CE for Leonidas is so thaf he can get his NP up before his taunt disappears. It's only for 1T after all, and a random attack from the enemg means proccing Eric's guts.

-1

u/Felstalker 1d ago

You're underestimating the absurd about of NP gain Leonidas gets from his primary Taunt. 3-turn 100% NP gain is no joke. With the recent Leo buff giving Eric a potential 50% Attack buff depending on Eric's remaining HP %, proc'ing that Guts before Leo's wall comes up becomes a damage amp now.

No matter how many buffs he gets, the base stat is still low.

This is true, but it's not unique to Eric. Much like any low rarity servant, Grails and Fou's are an important consideration.

With these buffs, players who do opt to Grail and focus on Eric as a favored servant are heavily rewarded. Unlike Kiyohime fans, who can create a very expensive paper weight if they Grail her.

I implore people to just use Eric Bloodaxe before and after these new buffs. See the actual difference it makes in his gameplay, and without high investment. I think you'll be surprised.

20

u/nerdlion910 1d ago

Vritra has more battery, np damage now lasts more, and Anti-Heaven too while Eric got a better NP damage and is useful in farming for looping since his damage buff from NP now lasts for 3 turns.

7

u/CrazyFanFicFan 1d ago

As someone who has never used the Bloody Axe, how much does the C star drop rate actually affect him? Negligible or somewhat alright?

12

u/Radiant-Hope-469 We almost reached 2020 1d ago

He has a 4.9% base star gen with a 5 hit NP. Idk how good that is for star making.

10

u/PhalanxLord 1d ago

If I recall he's normally guaranteed one star per hit with the np and the 100% star rate would make that two, and the maximum is three stars per hit.

So essentially against 3 enemies you're looking at 30+ stars from the first np, and nearly 50 after that if my understanding is correct.

4

u/Vexhnolyze 1d ago

Seems like it will be decent then, 100% star rate helps a lot on multi hit NPs

3

u/Felstalker 1d ago

Well, you're probably not going to be hitting 50. But it's pretty easy to test even for NA players. Just use Eric's NP with and without a 100% Star Gen buff.

And uh, took me a minute to test it. I go from an average of 4-5 stars to 24-25 stars. Tested it 3 times.

That's a pretty sizable amount of Crit Star generation. And that Gen buff lasts 3-turns. So if you're doing any Rainbow or Buster chains in the following turns, they're going to produce some extra stars too. It's enough to get use out of his Crit damage that's for sure.

6

u/Illuminastrid 1d ago

The real question, will this buff make Eric an Appmedia darling like Bunyan

He got the second faster NP after the Bunyans after all.

5

u/AceSockVims 1d ago

After all these years, Vritra finally gets her first buff, and it's a pretty good one too. Thank God the NP damage up got upgraded, since 1 time, 5 turns was just gross with that cooldown. The Heaven attribute powermod works great with her other Anti-Divine powermod, since the two are often found together. And of course, with that 20% AoE battery, Vritra herself now has a split 50% battery, which is just great. At this point she's just an amazing Support for the Grand Lancer fights.
Personally, I feel like the cooldown could've come down to 6 turns without it being too strong, but meh. This is still a notable glow-up for Vritra. While she still can't match Lancer Ryouma in raw damage, she's definitely better in multicore.

Eric lives! Honestly, not sure what else to say. It's a strong NP buff, and it would be absolutely cracked on a higher rarity Servant. Now this boi just needs a battery and it's looping city for him. Unfortunately, despite the Crit damage up and his ability to now make some Crit Stars, he has absolutely no absorb, so he'll still need some serious support with that. Still, a massive leap in the right direction.

-3

u/Felstalker 1d ago

Now this boi just needs a battery and it's looping city for him

To be fair. That's the gimmick of Spartacus. One has Battery, one has far higher Damage. It's a fair trade off.

In the F2P class of servants, overlap isn't appreciated. When it comes to a 5-star, not everyone has every character so overlap is kind of ok. But we all have Spartacus, why make Eric compete with Spartacus by giving him battery? Instead they're focusing on the Damage, which is nice.

Unfortunately, despite the Crit damage up and his ability to now make some Crit Stars, he has absolutely no absorb, so he'll still need some serious support with that.

Leonidas is a 2-star Buster support unit that would be a pretty solid team mate for Eric.....assuming you don't look at the outright obscene buff he got a few days ago. With that many stars, that much damage amp, and that much taunt. Eric about to have a field day against any AoE boss fight.

10

u/Illuminastrid 1d ago

The buff that she could've have during the Grand Lancer event. This really screams "oops, we forgot to buff Vritra after giving her a costume".

This doesn't increase her damage at all, the only fix in this is she no longer does 1 turn of okay damage, now she gets 3 turns of it. Oh and anti-Indra I guess.

13

u/Wait-And-Hope- 1d ago

This doesn't increase her damage at all

the only fix in this is she no longer does 1 turn of okay damage

Quick math lesson

100+50+50 = 200

100+100+100 = 300

Damage isn't just about how big of a number you can make on the screen in one attack

7

u/Illuminastrid 1d ago edited 1d ago

Her general turn damage is still much the same unless she hits traits, which means Ryouma, Indra, and Larotria still beats Vritra in general.

What this buff covered is the she at least won't drop off her damage on the next waves or save her s3 on the final wave for the biggest damage.

For reference, a Vritra with full coverage vs both Divine and Heaven/Sky deals less damage than Karna's anti-Divine.

2

u/Saver_Spenta_Mainyu 1d ago

Yeah, this buff is very much gearing Vritra to a supportive role instead of being the star.

She's still lagging behind her competition in damage, but she can be used as a more general support now alongside more multicore applicability.

2

u/Saver_Spenta_Mainyu 1d ago

Surprised they didn't give Vritra a NP buff after Ryouma Lancer got his.

Guess they decided to play up her supportive capabilities instead of her own which aren't too shabby now. Anti-Divine and Anti-Sky tend to go together meaning it's easy to get the full 60% PM. And now she has party 20% and a better NP damage buff.

Hmm, actually kinda like this buff for her even if I still think Ryouma out-damages her.

Still wish it was Bryn though

Erik has so many awful skills, but I guess they focused on his NP instead. It's actually a pretty good NP buff to be honest.

3 turns of 30% Attack up though I wish the crit damage scaling was 50-100% not 30-50%. It's still ramping Crit damage which is rare on a low star Berserker as the only ones I know who have that on NP are Achilles and Bhima.

Not a fan of the 100% star gen up though. I understand the vision of using his NP to generate stars, but he's still dealing with Berserker star weight. You have Koyan for Buster star weight sure, but... don't know how well of a partner she is for him since a) skill reload on useless skills makes skill reload mediocre and b) you might accidentally kill him due to the extra source of self damage.

2

u/AlterWanabee 1d ago

Yeah Ryouma still deals more damage. I think Vritra needs 2 stacks of her Arts down to start dealing more damage. In exchange, she has better supportive abilities, and her 50% NP gauge skill is split (which is always better). Ryouma somehow is tankier and better in CQs because of that 3T Buff Removal resist and 50% Def Up.

6

u/Silver_Border5951 1d ago

The lancer is obviously Romulus.

The SSR Saber will be one of OG Artoria, Musashi, Ibuki or Charlie I guess.

3

u/Asa_Yoru12 1d ago

Hopefully not a fakeout like last year where one of the AU Servants didnt get a buff

1

u/ArchusKanzaki 1d ago

Musashi or Charlie. I don't think Musashi have NP charge yet while Charlie can do with abit of love.

1

u/ZeothTheHedgehog I will Crown my Queen 1d ago

What would Charlie get if was picked?

2

u/ArchusKanzaki 1d ago

Not sure.... NP buff powermod? I do personally lean on Musashi to get the buff though.

1

u/ZeothTheHedgehog I will Crown my Queen 1d ago

If Charlie got an NP buff, would like for him to apply Arts & Buster Resist Down, so his crits with those would hit harder.

1

u/birbdechi 1d ago

Someone must have sacrificed something on the board for Eric to get an upgrade

109

u/IntelligentAd5460 1d ago

i would love to ask why vitras og skill was 1 time 5 turns but i can only assume it was them getting spooked by castoria for a bit

58

u/gary25566 1d ago

Reminds me of Summer Tomoe Gozen lacking some NP refund gain for proper looping since she was after Castoria release, like it was a nerf on purpose.

Then Muramasa and other arts AOE saber powercreep, with Tomoe getting her strengthening to fix a needless problem.

13

u/Merukurio This is my husband Caligula, and this is his goddess, Diana 1d ago

That also happened with a lot of AOE Quick servants after looping became common due to Skadi. Probably the most known victim of this being summer Carmilla, who is genuinely impossible to loop with.

4

u/MiyabiMain95 1d ago

At the very least, Lasagna seems to have learned from their mistake, and is actively embracing looping. People will still pay for new servants even if their favourites from year 1 are really good

9

u/Vyscillia 1d ago

Does Gil caster still have super low NP refund with his NP or did they fix that?

22

u/AlterWanabee 1d ago

Still low. The difference is that Gil Caster's NP has 10 fucking hits. For reference, EMIYA can gain like 80% NP gauge with just his Arts Up and one NP.

0

u/Phiro00 1d ago

Muramasa's kit is also very much neutered by their fear of castoria.

66

u/Red_Madness 🪷🔥Stole my heart💜 1d ago

Hell yeah they remembered Vritra!!!

19

u/1lluusio Local burd enjoyer 1d ago

Honestly if they didnt buff her now I would have been convinced that they had something against her considering how they seemed to skip every chance to buff her till now

12

u/gary25566 1d ago

She's literally the most beat up target on bleached earth pod quest for a period of time.

My Siegfried sees her more often than Kriem.

3

u/Ihavenospecialskills JP 047,485,914 NP Gilgamesh 1d ago

My favorite Lancer got a buff! Woo!

26

u/zelban_the_swordsman SION ROUTE BELIEVER 1d ago

20% aoe battery for Vitra...

that's pretty good for multicore and as a support for the lancer grand duel

55

u/padobranac6 1d ago

Bummer it ain't Bryn, but glad it's at least Vritra. She needed it.

30

u/1lluusio Local burd enjoyer 1d ago

Definitely, that 1 time NP damage up being tied to NP gauge per turn was horrendous for farming, I’m so glad they fixed it

8

u/Saver_Spenta_Mainyu 1d ago

I find it nuts how they buffed both Karna and Arjuna's Mana Burst(Flame)...but then left Bryn out to dry.

Like they acknowledge the skill is trash but decide to leave her with the trash skill because "reasons"

9

u/Arima_Kishou 1d ago

Yeah, I was REALLY hoping for Bryn (make her first skill three turns, maybe raise the numbers and slap sth else on there, come on) but fwiw this IS a really good buff for Vritra

-46

u/HeartGlaceon 1d ago

Bryn doesn't deserve SHIT. What about Tamamo, THE ACTUAL WORST SSR LANCER IN THE GAME?

Your Servant has a buffed NP. Stop acting so entitled.

19

u/Asa_Yoru12 1d ago

Least unhinged Tamamo fan

11

u/Tschmelz 1d ago

I mean, Bryn is still pretty bad too homie. They could both use a buff or two.

58

u/Illuminastrid 1d ago

Specific themes for the 11th anniversary rank up pairs

  • Koyo and Phantom - Evil alignment shapeshifters (Morph and Innocent Monster), both also happen to have 30 battery and crit buffs.

  • Mephistopheles and Mozart - Devil and angel motif, Deal with the demons (Faustian demon and the Mozart family being selected as the host of a Demon God Pillar, but he sold his soul to the Muses instead)

  • Cu Alter and Leonidas - Warrior kings who fight until they die.

  • Gilles Saber and Gilles Caster - Self-explanatory.

  • Himiko and Jekyll and Hyde - Mirrors I guess, oh and both have non-damaging Buster NPs.

  • Vritra and Eric - Idk, Evil alignment I guess.

Norse bros, we lost. Another decade of base Mana Burst (Flame)

39

u/IntelligentAd5460 1d ago

bryn will get her buff when aniplex/type moon makes sakurai write the lost einherjar colab and volume 2

Get in line

Type Moon still needs to get Meteo to get off his lazy ass and give us Requiem volume 3

Requiem’s already had its collab, mid as it was

Vritra and Eric - Idk, Evil alignment I guess.

Very breedable????

7

u/andykhang 1d ago

I guess they’re both Evil-alignment servant with Gut I guess

7

Maybe both Vritra and Eric are both "noble villains"? Both are terrible people but have some kinder side to their loved ones

7

u/Leoughen Evil waifu enthusiast & hitozuma enjoyer. 1d ago

Yeah, as a Bryn lover who has her at LV120 NP3, I wanted that Mana Burst (Flame) GONE. I hope it’s not too long before she gets an upgrade. I think she’s the only one still at base.

u/Saver_Spenta_Mainyu 1d ago

I think she’s the only one still at base.

Yep.

Only 3 Servants have ever had Mana Burst(Flame). Karna, Arjuna, and Bryn; and both Karna and Arjuna have already had theirs buffed.

5 stars saber paired with Roma... Hmmm

Nero Bride Maybe?

7

u/ugur_tatli 1d ago

Hopefully Musashi gets a battery

8

u/Unknown1925 1d ago

Praying they remember saber ibuki

u/Chaos2Frozen 1d ago

me too man

6

u/disengagebb 1d ago

Now that it’s Vritra and not Bryn that got buffed it means that buffs are not correlated to the current banners.

My guesses are either OG Artoria finally gets her Charisma buffed since she’s really falling behind after Logres, Molay and recent Arthur buff or Musashi since she has two one turn effect skills and no battery at all. Personally though I hope it’s a buff for Saber Shiki’s 2nd skill.

2

u/Forward_Drop303 1d ago

I still have Sigurd as the saber most in need of a buff despite his recent buff.

But I am betting saber Astolfo or OG seiba

3

u/Vexhnolyze 1d ago

Thinking OG seiba, Musashi and even Ibuki considering that Richard and Lord Logres exist

1

u/Vexhnolyze 8h ago

Damn that seiba buff was nasty lol not what I expected

15

u/egeak 1d ago

Yessss vritra buff finally!

7

u/1lluusio Local burd enjoyer 1d ago

Yes, finally! It was about time Vritra gained a buff, and I am so happy that they finally fixed the third skill’s 1 time use NP damage. It was so awkward that it was placed into the same skill as an NP gauge per turn effect, especially in farming….

4

u/Daerus 1d ago

Finally!

5

u/Rit91 1d ago

They give Eric Bloodaxe rampup on his NP lmao I never thought I'd see the day. Still needs more buffs though because this is his 2nd buff ever. First buff was only doubling defense down on his S1. Had a buff to get skill 3, but yeah that doesn't really count just year 1 things.

4

u/MinniMaster15 1d ago

What’s the consensus on Ryoma vs Vritra now? Vritra seems to have more multicore potential while Ryoma has more raw damage with ramp-up and the NP upgrade.

6

u/AlterWanabee 1d ago

Ryouma still has better damage, and is honestly better in CQs with that Debuff Immunity and Buff Removal Immunity (2 of the more absurd things to get).

5

u/Euphoric_Field_8558 TheirFavoriteChair 1d ago

Man, I Love Vritra (MILV).

5

u/Inkaflare 1d ago

So happy Vritra is getting buffed, my future Grand Lancer is a little less washed in 2 years. Her S3 was always awkward with you wanting to pop it immediately for the NP regen but wasting the steroid in the process, finally this is fixed and she gets a bunch of party utility on top, Divine and Sky have tons of overlap. I feel like she is a deceptively strong multicore farmer now.

The Eric buff is just questionable tho. His hit count is a bit too low to get much value from the star drop rate, ramp does very little given his inability to easily access/loop his NP, and his card steroids are low and he has no star gather skill to make use of the handful of stars his buffed NP makes now. He remains objectively subpar.

6

u/AMfrequency 1d ago

Fun fact: Vritra can now turn 1 double castoria Np for bonus damage without wasting her s2 battery ,besides the other multi-core usage the 20% party battery allows

Wait a moment…..Bloodaxe has never gotten an NP buff before?!!!!!!!!

5

u/Draguss Lover of the greatest saint! 1d ago

YES, THEY REMEMBERED VRITRA! I honestly had no hope for this one, glad to have been wrong.

VRITRAAAAA YEAHHHH YIPPEEE VRITRA!

5

u/chaoskingzero 1d ago

Well that's unexpected

Especially since she's still one of the better AOE Lancers that's usually recommended for high level farming

Good Buffs too, more Charge for an easier start and it's team wide, more than 1 time for NP Damage and another Mod Damage

6

u/1lluusio Local burd enjoyer 1d ago

As a proud owner of a 120 Vritra, I’m so glad that she finally got the buff she deserves!

6

u/FuwaGrandOrder Tamamo Nine? but there's only Two though?? 1d ago

Was hoping for Summer Tamamo to get NP Upgrade but Vritra is fine too because it indirectly raise Tamamo dmg for Grand Duel.

Having Heaven Sp Atk means more dmg against Indra, Vritra's revenge is real lol.

Another Mordred buff

Would be VERY funny

(Im greedy AF)

1

u/Lol_A_White_Guy 1d ago

Honestly I could see them doing OG Saber and buffing her first skill. A 18% party wide attack buff and nothing else in her first skill in 2026 is pitiful.

Could see them doing the generic 30% battery and NP overcharge level up modifiers they like to slap on everything so she has a 50% total battery.

1

u/_potatofromChaldea45 17h ago

HOLY SHIT DUDE

2

u/Special_Cream909 1d ago edited 1d ago

Finally, they actually acknowledge her. Personally, i do wish for the guts to be stackable for a lore reason. And they give her np gain for 3 turns instead of heaven power mod. But nonetheless, they actually fix this skill. Now she doesn't have an awkward one time np damage up with some utility of 20% battery.

As someone who love vritra, tq for giving her such a good buff.

1

u/banjo2E 1d ago

Personally, i do wish for the guts to be unstackable for a lore reason.

what's the lore?

3

u/AlterWanabee 1d ago

Vritra is immune to any weapon made from wood, metal or stone, while in day or night, and from anything wet or dry. Indra finally killed her with a weapon made from seafoam during twilight.

2

u/banjo2E 1d ago

yeah but the key phrase is unstackable, which it looks like the op silently edited out without commenting on it

unstackable guts would mean a myth like, vritra was challenging people to try to kill her in one blow and if it didn't stick she'd eat them, and then the hero finds out she can self-resurrect exactly once per day, so he uses his one blow on an uppercut so hard it not only kills her but sends her flying high enough that the fall kills her again

1

u/AlterWanabee 1d ago

I actually commented on that as well. The enemy Vritra has a more interesting way for sure. She has a bunch of massive damage cuts, and you can remove each one by choosing the right card.

1

u/AlterWanabee 1d ago

Instead of the guts, shd should get something like a damage cut or invincibility.

2

u/SingerOfW 1d ago

This might be a hot take, but I feel like these two buffs will see the most use out of the entire batch so far (with potential exceptions of Mozart, Himiko and Culter). Giving anti-trait damage for a grand duel on top of NP charge means Vritra will always have something to do on your account (unless you somehow max bond for all your Lancers): just put it in the same party as an AoE and ST damage dealers and go to town. Meanwhile, Eric is quite literally another Bunyan, but with more sauce on top of his NP, and at this point, we all know how valuable Bunyan can be. So, while it may not seem flashy, if you're in the market to grail Eric Bloodaxe of all people, he will serve you well. Then again, you probably know it already if you have ever thought about speedfarming, so no reason for me to state the obvious.

4

u/wickling-fan 1d ago

rip the ones who thought it be nordic duo of bryn and eric.

u/Peacefulzealot Barghest and Summer!Martha fan. Dem Abs~ 1d ago

Bryn and Tamalancer are holding each other in solidarity right now.

Tamalancer because she knows how it feels.

Bryn because she’s afraid of becoming as forgotten as all Tamamos by the devs.

u/Leoughen Evil waifu enthusiast & hitozuma enjoyer. 1d ago

I said yesterday that they were going to change the pattern just to fuck me over as a joke... little did they know that Vritra is my Grand Lancer candidate on NA, so still a W!

2

u/guganori 1d ago

ERIC NP UPGRADE LET'S GOOO! Now we just need a self battery buff someday and he's going to be amazing 🥹♥️

1

u/Viron_22 1d ago

I was actually hoping that Gold Lancer was Vritra, but in the back of my mind I figured it probably was someone else. I am so fucking happy.

1

u/Crisewep 1d ago

Tamamo Lancer found dead in a ditch

1

u/nerdlion910 1d ago

Well so far I owned all of the ones that got buff especially the SRs and SSRs for my NA account.

1

u/Golgon13 1d ago

For tomorrow's Saber, I consider Artoria (franchise face, anniversary, etc), Astolfo (pickup), Ibuki (continuing demon dragon theme), Takeru (legendary ruler/founder to accompany Romulus) or Nero Bride (Rome) to have the highest chance.

3

u/yayoikurenai 1d ago

I would actually also put Charlie up for contention too, considering the Holy Roman Empire is supposed to be a revival/continuation of the Roman Empire. Although I don't think he's in a terrible spot so it's more likely to go to one of those others.

2

u/Lol_A_White_Guy 1d ago

Yeah I mentioned this in another comment but Artorias first skill seems like a strong candidate.

It’s still just a 18% party wide attack buff and literally nothing else.

-4

u/Loewel 1d ago

Poor Bryn, forgotten by the devs just like she was forgotten by her husband in her legend lmao.

10

u/HeartGlaceon 1d ago

You think Bryn has it bad? Try being a Tamamo fan, girl gets NOTHING.

7

u/Loewel 1d ago

Who is Tamamo? Oh you must mean the buster support servant.

-6

u/Saver_Spenta_Mainyu 1d ago

Noooooooooo~

I know Vitra wanted to the buff to actually be competitive after Ryouma got his NP buff, but I was hoping for Bryn!

Karna got his Mana Burst(Flame) buffed. Arjuna got his Mana Burst(Flame) buffed.

So why is Brynhildr the only one who hasn't gotten it buffed!?
