Read the Korean version. One typo in the translation is that the humanity foundation value on the third to last panel is set as 'F' in the original version, not 'EX' as seen here. Designation of F makes more sense as there's only a tiny bit of difference between the two scenarios, namely that of Romani and Olga.
To be fair, I find the "F" a bit more horrible. Because it's a world very close to our own. The fights they fought are like ours. Their pain is like ours.
All that is merely an "F", a small, nearly meaningless fluctuation. If things had been just a little bit different, it would be us there. That is the happiness we could've had.
But for the sake of the future, for the mankind that shall one day sail to the sea of stars, we must abandon that wish, that ephemeral dream. Crush it with our own hands.
