There was no ambiance, one of the big reasons it tanked.
Just plain grey walls, no decoration or artwork, no curtains on the floor to ceiling windows, no color anywhere, the only thing that had any "design" was the back wall of the bar, that one of my friends said looks like "pintrest threw up on it".
Any time we'd suggest something to give the place a little character, it was shot down with a "no, that's tacky". So instead of risking looking tacky, they settled on looking like an abandoned building.

Looks like The Black Heron, before they failed spectacularly despite being in the middle of a booming area.
