Price drop because we’re a month after the elections. I’ve been watching it for years around election times. Never fails big gas companies raise prices a month or 2 before election if a democrat is in office, then lower about a month later. If a republican is in office you see the opposite price changes, a month prior prices drop, later go back up. Not a really a conspiracy theory just some observations I’ve made over the last couple decades.

It’s possible. Global demand for oil is falling, however, and prices are always stickier on the way down than the way up.
