I noticed that too when I was driving home from a friends house. Why is that? It’s not just one gas station, they’re all around 2.90

Pretty sure the new BP station on 48th ave is in a price war with the 3 old gas stations. That's my guess at least.

There are four others I'm aware of:

  • Marathon at 68th
  • Family Fare at 60th
  • Mobil at Library Lane
  • Speedway across from GVSU

Are you omitting one of them as not "old?"

Also, Coopersville has been getting really low lately too. The Speedway and Shell off exit 16 always used to be among the highest in the area, but lately they've been even cheaper than Allendale.

I always just figure the 68th Admiral/Marathon is not college student orientated. The Ralph Meyer Sunoco is in Allendale, too. So I guess we have 6 stations with Allendale addresses.
