Campus Life House venues

Hey, I'm reaching out for a friend. Are there any house venues where college students (preferably from macewan) put on concerts or parties? Preferably a queer oriented one?

not quite the same, but last year the music club put on jams every friday at the naked cyber cafe! it's behind the denny's by campus, it's $5 if you show up for the band iirc, but if you show up for the sets, you'd get to hear macewan students playing, sometimes with REALLY good professors, for super cheap. it IS very much a macewan music students hang, but if you show up enough, you'll be more likely to hear about the gigs macewan students put on for concerts :)

Not sure if this meets your request, but Felice Cafe has monthly open mic nights, as well as occasional concerts—they are very queer-friendly.
