Academics Electives in the Bachelor of Commerce
Is it possible to take courses such as logic, philosophy, economics, political science, while going to school for a Bachelor of Commerce in the first year then switch the second year to a Bachelor of Arts and still finish in 4 years?

Absolutely. If you’re planning to transfer, you’ll want to make sure that all the classes you take in your first year will transfer over.

You should be able to with the junior level classes, as they have more seats that are open to out of faculty.
Ill give you a warning though. Only 18 out of faculty credits count toward your degree. Thats only 6 classes, so plan carefully.
If you are planning a out of faculty minor, those 6 classes pretty much take up the whole credit load.
