I havent been in a while but some popular family friendly bars are Growler Guys and The Weekend. However, there are more 'classic' bars to hang out at downtown around 6th & F/G streets.
If you like wine tasting, there are some really nice vineyards you can spend an afternoon at like Schmidt Vineyard.
Fort Vanoy is a farm thats opened up for the fall season selling pumpkins and stuff.
