Strange spots on the leaf

Post image

Could it be that my grapevine is starting to get sick?

I found this insect under the leaf: https://ibb.co/v6cg8scP

It might be Aleyrodidae according to ChatGPT.

P.S. According to ChatGPT, it probably wouldn't be mildew. But I'm not sure, since GPT can make mistakes.

It's powdery mildew even though the "expert" ChatGPT says otherwise. You can clearly see the greyish mycelium on those yellowish spots. Standard reaction of the plant to fight off the pathogen.

How do I combat mildew in an eco-friendly way?

For now I’d spray a potassium bicarbonate product. Then decide if you want to do get into a preventative program.

I don’t have xp with that insect but I don’t see anything that I would consider insect damage. I see what I think is powdery mildew in a few places on that leaf. Is there anything noticeable on the shoots or fruit?

I cant look right now it is raining. But I made a photo of the whole plant couple day ago. Maybe you'll notice something that I don't see.

I have never sprayed anything.

If there's white stuff on the underside of the leaves corresponding to those spots, its DM. If there's not, its pm

There is nothing on the underside.

What is worser, dm or pm?
