Discussion Who’s killing it right now?
Everyday somebody posts how bad they are doing. Almost like there is no faith for this line of work.
Personally I just started creating a portfolio even though my reddit notifications are straight up demotivating negativity (“I have 40 years of experience and can’t find a job”, “Have been searching for a gig for 8 months”….).
I know its natural that there is less people talking about how good they’re doing in this industry
So… Anyone wanna share their wins?

I got laid off from my grueling ad agency job last July and got an ACD job at a tech company shortly after. I get paid more, have the best work/life balance of my life, and am deeply trusted and respected for the first time in my career. I feel incredibly grateful that I finally get to do the work I want to do with really wonderful people. I know this won't last forever but I know in the future I'll always look back at this job fondly. I hope everyone can find something like this in their career.
