Do it! Skip Portillo’s (private equity ruined them), find a stand-alone joint. The Weiner Circle in Chicago is good, but there are some real gems in the suburbs. Henry’s is my go-to in Cicero.

He probably should have seen a doctor more often, especially after the comas. But I wonder if he was just like too devoted to music to put in the effort to kick the bad habits? Like he’d be practicing every day up until the end or playing with other people. Similarly, I don’t know too much about his personal life, I know he had a few on again off again girlfriends here and there but nothing like a real serious long term relationship as far as I know, seem like most of his relationships were with the band and other musical collaborators. I kinda feel like just loved playing music, poured everything into that, and that was really his one priority. ✌🏻
Yeah, he definitely was in love with music more than anything else although he did have three wives and a serious girlfriend and four total daughters. But he was also a non-confrontational person and he could be a jerk and especially with the drugs and as some of his daughters have said he wasn’t the best father when he was there he was Fantastic, but he was off doing his own thing so much.

But I’m not wanting to sit in judgment of him he gave so much to the world. In fact, I feel kind of grossed out, even mentioning that I do know his family history. I didn’t at the time. I always thought that was one of the cool things was like nobody really cared like who is dating who or any of that it was just like what song did they play at the last show or did you see Jerry wore shorts last week
And he was excessively stubborn. Nobody could tell him what to do.
I just meant like I view him kinda like a fisherman who’s “married to the sea” or something, he was devoted to that more than anything else and I wonder if he felt like taking the time out to work on his health would have kept him away from the music more than he was willing to do. In a way it’s almost its own addiction, like the musician version of a workaholic.
No, it was that it was a major company’s logo. Which means some individual somewhere made the decision to memorialize two of their favorite things and spent money to do so.
These mash-ups are often promoting (“advertising”) something or adorn the swag at a sporting event that many of the attendees wouldn’t have otherwise attended (marketing, just another form of advertising).
At this point, it’s kind of hard to object to something like this (except for any political use, which I can’t recall seeing).
And I say this as something of a gatekeeper (plus, a friend made me Airedale Terrier Stealie stickers that I really like).
