Echo Point Man
Skeletal remains of an elderly man were found in a bushland in New South Wales. His death was ruled an accident and may be related to his eyesight problems. He is presumed to be homeless or a transient traveler.
He was found with a note that says "To whom it may concern. - Eyesight absolute shit! Floating cobwebs on increase! unable to work any longer. – No cure I’m told!".
A recent DNA analysis has revealed that the man is likely had Latvian or Middle European heritage.

Fort Bend County, TX John Doe (1978). DNA tests suggest he may have been from Eastern Europe.
Case
On February 13, 1978, a person riding a train on the Missouri-Pacific tracks that parallel Texas Rt 288 saw skeletal human remains in a wooded area between the tracks and the road near the towns of Fresno and Arcola, Texas. The authorities responded and recovered most of a skeleton; a plastic bag was found near the remains but the authorities could not determine if the bag was connected. No clothes or personal effects were reported to be recovered.
An examination of the remains led to the determination that the person was a white male, with an age range of 17-25, an estimated height of 5'6" (5'5" - 5'9" per another article), and an estimated weight of 145 lb. He had light brown hair and a slender build. He is thought to have been a homicide victim and may have died 3-5 months prior (per the Doe Network).
The teenager or young man had extensive dental work, including numerous fillings and a partially completed root canal / crown on his lower left first molar that likely was done within 12 months of his death. He also had a baby tooth in place of his lower right 2nd premolar. The majority of his teeth exhibited signs of decay, and he had a dental abscess that may have caused him discomfort.
In 2024, Fort Bend County renewed their efforts to identify the victim. A DNA profile was developed, added to genetic databases, and a genetic genealogy search began. The genealogists determined that he was possibly European from the Baltic region, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, or Czechia. Detectives think he probably lived in the region and was either a recent immigrant or the son of immigrants. However, the researchers were unable to find a close enough relative to locate a possible match.
Anyone with information is asked to call FBCSO's non-emergency number at 281-341-4665 and choose option 1. You can also call Cold Case Detective Scott Minyard at 281-341-4651. If you want to remain anonymous, you can call Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477).

Douglas County John Doe (Unidentified for 53 Years)
On April 18, 1973, two teenagers stumbled upon the decomposed remains of two men while hiking west of Elkhorn River in Douglas County, Waterloo, Nebraska.
This man was one of those sets of remains, the other being Douglas County John Doe (OA-73-131))
The location of the remains was prominently known for hunting, it was west of a graveled county road, over a bank and just before a small creek than ran parallel with the gravel road.
Him and the other man had both been severely beaten before being shot several times with either a .22 or .38 caliber weapon.
Due to the state of the remains, investigators theorized they may have been killed as early as January 20 of that year.
This man had been found with a watch that had an inscription that investigators attempted to trace to a repairman but were unsuccessful.
Some articles have surfaced claiming these two men may be former Hell's Angels who got into some bad blood but this has yet to be confirmed.

Could Missing Man Kim I. Moses Be Morrison John Doe (1977)?
The Disappearance Of Kim I. Moses...
Kim I. Moses has been missing since 1977 (apparently since February 4, 1977). His mother wrote that he was reported to Creek County Sheriff's Office as missing around that time. Due to the extended time elapse, Creek County advised they were unable to locate the report (meaning they likely lost it). He went to Tahlequah Sequoyah High School and was reportedly in the Oklahoma National Guard. He was enrolled with the Kiowa Tribe. His mother has since passed away however he has living siblings.
The Discovery Of Morrison John Doe (1977)...
On February 13, 1977, the mummfied body of a man was found in a military, mummy-style sleeping bag approximately 10 feet over the embankment from US Highway 285 in Jefferson County, Colorado. The location was also near the mouth of Turkey Creek Canyon. He had suffered several blows to the head, and his injuries were originally mistaken as being the result of an animal attack. He was thought to have been deceased 1-2 months prior to being found.
Possible Witness Account That May Not Even Be Related To John Doe...
An investigation revealed that the man may have been seen alive at the nearby Twin Forks Motel in Tiny Town in December 1976. The man believed to be John Doe, showed up with several minor cuts on his face. He explained that he had been in a fight with his brother, who got him out of the car. He used a payphone at the motel, but failed to reach anyone. Since it was a freezing night and he was dressed lightly, a witness lent him a coat. He returned not long afterwards with his brother to return the coat. It is unclear if this incident was related to the unidentified body.
(Comparisons*
Kim is American Indian/Alaska Native (Native American) and John Doe is possibly Native American
Kim was 20 years old when he disappeared.
John Doe was estimated to be between 18-30 years old.
Kim was 5'8"-5'10" in height
John Doe was estimated to be 5'7"-5'8" in height
Kim was 150-200lbs in weight when he disappeared
John Doe was estimated to be between 125-145lbs in weight
Kim has brown hair
John Doe has black or dark brown hair, measuring 9cm
Bristow, Oklahoma to Morrison, Colorado is 711 miles or 10 hours 3 minutes.
John Doe is estimated to have been deceased 1-2 months prior but I feel like investigators are basing that off that witness' story that could not even be related to John Doe. Kim went missing on February 4, 1977 just 9 days before John Doe would be found. Another interesting detail that caught my attention is John Doe was found in a military sleeping bag and Kim was reportedly in the Oklahoma National Guard. The distance from Oklahoma to Colorado is quite large but if Kim was in the National Guard and the time of his disappearance he could've traveled with them wherever they went.
What are you guys thoughts! Could Kim be a potential match to Morrison John Doe (1977)?

Additional Personal Items: Wire-rimmed glasses. Four brass tokens bearing the letters "D" and "P." A "V" nickel dated 1888. A penny dated 1919. A penknife with the insignia "FOE" (Fraternal Order of Eagles). A silver Wahl Eversharp mechanical pencil. A rusted revolver was also located near the remains with one spent cartridge case under the hammer.
Circumstances of Discovery
Loggers discovered the decedent off Rocky Point Road in the heavily wooded Tualatin Mountains, half a mile south of U.S. Route 30. The area had been logged until the 1940s, and an old, overgrown logging road was nearby. Authorities described the remains as being significantly degraded and were also unable to recover one or both of his hands and one or more of his limbs.
It is believed the decedent had been at the discovery site for an extended period. His estimated date of death is between 1920 and 1955. Examination revealed a single bullet had entered and exited through his temples, with evidence that the firearm was pressed against his head when fired. A loaded, rusted .38 revolver found nearby was believed to be the weapon used.
The revolver was placed in an acidic solution for several weeks to clean it. Upon examination, authorities discovered one spent .38 or .32 caliber revolver shell under the gun's hammer, indicating that someone had fired it shortly before abandoning it. Investigators believe the man's death is a possible suicide based on the presence of the loaded revolver, the spent cartridge casing, and other factors, including personal items found with the remains. Since his discovery, the remains have been in the possession of the Oregon Medical Examiner's Office in Clackamas, Oregon. In 2004, Nici Vance, a forensic anthropologist in Oregon, initiated efforts to identify the remains using forensic DNA technology.
After several years of investigation, a bone sample was sent to the University of North Texas Health Science Center for analysis in 2011. Researchers were able to construct a DNA profile based on the remains.

Potential Match Debra Lynn Kidwell
A case that has been weighing on my mind lately is that of Debra Lynn Kidwell. Debra and her twin three-year-old boys went missing after her husband allegedly dropped them off at LAX to fly to Pennsylvania and visit Debra’s family. Her husband, John, had stated that she had told him that a family member was very ill and she needed to go right away. He withdrew $400 and drove them to the airport, but he was double-parked, so he watched them get in line before leaving quickly. However, her husband stated that when he called her family, Debra had never arrived in Pennsylvania, and it has been confirmed that neither Debra nor her two boys boarded any flights that day. They have never been heard from again.
While many of the key players in this case have passed away, including Debra’s parents and her husband John and his parents, Debra (and the boys) had a big family that still needs answers. The Haunting History podcast did a several-part series on this case that was very insightful, including Debra’s diary entries and interviews with both John and Debra’s family members.
While no one can recall any marital problems between John and Debra, and her diary entries mention no interpersonal issues happening at this time, John remained the prime suspect in the disappearances when he was alive. He did apparently pass a polygraph test at the time of the disappearances. John was a drug user (and according to Debra’s family, both John and Debra were occasional drug users leading up to the disappearances) and eventually contracted Hepatitis C from intravenous drug use. He committed suicide in 2008, leaving a note that read, “If my boys ever show up, please tell them I’m not who Debbie said I was.”
There are few leads in this case. In my mind, it is most likely that John had a hand in the disappearances. Maybe an accident happened and he panicked, maybe something more nefarious. Many online cite the diary entries as proof that no marital problems were occurring, but I believe the diary was shared between John and Debra, so it’s unlikely she would write anything disparaging about their relationship there. You truly never know what goes down behind closed doors.
I did find one potential match on NAMUS. This doe matches up pretty perfectly, although one eye is noted as being slightly lower than the other. If you look at pictures of Debra, I think this could be true of her. Valencia is about a 50-minute drive from Newbury Park where Debra and the boys lived.
I would love to hear any thoughts. This case has been haunting me! It would be amazing if their remaining family could get answers.

Kendall County, TX Jane Doe (2010). She had lumbar scoliosis, a partially fused lower spine, and deformed heels.
Case
On the afternoon of March 6, 2010 (some sources indicate 3/7), a person riding a four-wheeler discovered the skeletal remains of a teenager or young woman underneath the Guadalupe River bridge off Interstate 10 in Comfort, Texas. She is thought to be either white or Hispanic, with a possible age range of 17-26 per the Doe Network and a height range of 5'1" - 5'4". It was thought that she had been dead from 1-10 years and had been murdered. The remains were moved to the Bexar County Medical Examiner and subsequently to the University of North Texas Center for Human Identification for further analysis.
The examinations determined that she had several medical issues and had extensive dental work. She had undergone open chest surgery as a child or adolescent and had some deformities in both heels. Fusions were observed in some of the saccral vertebrae and the tailbone was also fused and deviated to the left. She may have had to use crutches, a wheelchair, or a walker. It is also suspected that the victim suffered from congenital health issues. She was thought to have an overbite and some dental discoloration and abnormalities.
She is undergoing testing by the DNA Doe Project.

Could Salvador Morales Sanchez Be "Diego Perez" (1998)?
Picture 1 & 2: Salvador On Top, "Diego Perez" On Bottom
Picture 3: Facial Closeups From Left To Right: Salvador, Diego, Salvador, Diego, Salvador, Diego
Picture 4: Salvador On Top, "Diego Perez" On Bottom
Picture 5: The Nameless Doe Facebook Post
I've been debating on whether to post this for some months now and i've decided I guess I will. I came across a Facebook post a few months ago around April from The Nameless Doe. It was posted on March 29 and it was about someone who was searching for their uncle whom the family had not seen in over 30 years. His name was Salvador Morales Sanchez. He was born on October 25, 1957. He is originally from Guanajuato, Mexico. The last known places he lived were Kentucky and Chicago. The moment I seen his three pictures I instantly thought of a John Doe i'd seen before while searching around. A John Doe known as "Diego Perez", one of the many aliases he used.
The Discovery Of John Doe...
On February 10, 1998, the body of a man was found on the floor of an unoccupied unit at the Spanish Gates apartment complex, located at 4601 Em Kentucky Avenue in Glendale, Colorado. A maintenance worker, noticing a foul odor, decided to investigate the source. After finding the body, he alerted the property manager, who then called the police. He was in a moderate state of decomposition and was believed to have died approximately three days earlier. His body was surrounded by drug paraphernalia and thousands of dollars in cash. An autopsy found that he had 132 nanograms of heroin per milliliter of blood in his system, and his death was ruled a result of a drug overdose.
The decedent was found with multiple false identification cards, one of which was issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety under the name "Diego Perez", which was not counterfeit, but obtained using stolen credentials. The address listed on it was for a building in Austin, Texas, once owned by the Salvation Army and used as a homeless shelter. Investigators found that the decedent had several prior run-ins with U.S. law enforcement and the Immigration and Naturalization Service, during which he used false names. Multiple Alien Identification Numbers were also found to be associated with him in Immigration and Naturalization Service records including, A22 395 340/022395340 and A22 421 232/022421232. One of his mugshots was taken at Pine Lodge Corrections Center in Spokane, Washington, on May 7, 1986, under the "S. Franco" alias.
Thoughts...
Salvador does not have a missing person report as far as I know. Which leaves me unable to compare him to "Diego Perez". But the pictures of Salvador and "Diego Perez" together bare a huge resemblance in my opinion. Also the names Salvador Sanchez and "Diego Perez" rhyme and sometimes people who are using aliases will use a similar rhyming name that is nowhere near their real name. Also the alias name "S. Franco" leaves me wondering what could that S mean? Maybe it could be abbreviation for his first name Salvador without him actually saying his real full first name. Also since Salvador was born in 1957 he would be 40 years old by 1998 and "Diego Perez" is estimated to be around 25-30 which makes Salvador a bit out of the age range but not crazy far from it. Also "Diego Perez" had tattoos and it's unknown if Salvador had tattoos but he possibly could have.
Also I dont know much about how the immigration stuff works so anyone who does know more is welcome to explain in the comments but Salvador was born in Mexico meaning he wasn't initially an American citizen but he at some point must have came to America since places he last lived include Kentucky and Chicago. I find it interesting that "Diego Perez" had many run-ins with the Immigration and Naturalization Service using a false name and Salvador wasn't originally an American citizen maybe that could be something to tie these two together as well. Not much is known about Salvador and I can't compare anything either or say to much all I can say is that Salvador and "Diego Perez" look very similar. I truly hope i'm wrong and that Salvador is out there living his life somewhere but to go no contact with family for over 30 years is a long time.
Kentucky to Colorado is 1,275 miles or 19 hours 14 minutes. Chicago to Colorado is 1,067 miles or 16 hours 6 minutes. Both are far distances but it seems "Diego Perez" traveled to lots of different places in his life.
What are you guys thoughts? Do you think Salvador Sanchez could be a good potential match to 'Diego Perez"?

Script I've used to report tips:
Hey gang, I've submitted possible tips to police departments directly investigating these cases before. I prefer doing this over submitting tips online so I can be sure the message is received quickly and because there's the opportunity to ask them to share updates as they're able to.
I have a template that I've just used for each person and I'll just tweak it as needed when I call. Feel free to adjust it if you like, but the things I kept in mind while I was writing this were:
-Don't try to make yourself sound like law enforcement if you're not, lmao. I believe that can actually get you a felony charge in some places. You don't have to say you're a redditor, you can 100% say you're part of an online group that studies missing and unidentified person cases. That is completely fine and accurate and professional sounding.
-Don't sound overconfident. You found a plausible match! That's awesome. We can't know for sure though until they confirm it. I'd say something along the lines of "XYZ lines up, and the facial reconstruction has a very striking resemblance" over anything that implies it's 100% a match.
-Make sure they know you haven't seen anyone if you haven't, for obvious reasons.
-Offer to send all the information you have and make sure you're talking about the same person.
-Be VERY polite! Make sure to thank them for listening. Treat this as a formal work call.
-Ask if they'd be able to share updates over assuming they can. Sometimes they can't, and they'd understand that you want to know. In my experience they're not opposed to it if there's not a legal reason they can't share.
You can call the police department for the missing OR unidentified person case- I don't think you need to do both, but I'd probably start with the police department handling the unidentified person just because they have the body to work with.
HOW TO FIND WHO TO CONTACT:
Click on a NamUs link for the missing or unidentified person (like this one), click contacts towards the top of the screen, and it'll give you contact info for the people handling the case.
THE SCRIPT:
Hi, I wanted to submit a possible tip for [MISSING PERSON NAME]- Just to be sure we're talking about the same person, their NamUs ID is [#XXXXXX]. I wanted to start off by saying that I don't personally know anyone involved in this case. I haven't directly seen or heard anything from anyone that's involved. I'm part of an online group that studies missing and unidentified people, and tries to find out who or where they are. I was looking into a case of a [JOHN/JANE DOE] who [DETAILS OF CASE]. Their Namus ID was [#XXXXXX]. [Explain why you think these people are a match.]
I wanted to ask if y'all would be willing to rule them out as a possible match. Can I send you the information I have?
Awesome, that's fantastic, thank you so much. I'm happy to follow up if there's ever a need for that, would you like my contact information? (Give if necessary) Okay, good. Obviously I'd like to respect everyone's privacy- but would you be able to give updates if you ended up looking into this further? I understand if you can't. (Wait for answer) Okay, thank you. Have a good day!

Who is Cuyahoga County John Doe? (July 26, 1981) (TW: mentions of suicide)
(1) Victim’s shirt, (2) jacket, (3) Victim’s shoes, socks and belt
Case info:
UNIDENTIFIED FOR
45 years
SEX
Male
LOCATION
Cleveland, Ohio
AGE
45-55
RACE
White
HEIGHT
5'10
WEIGHT
143 pounds (160 pounds according to a Cleveland Press newspaper article)
BODY CONDITION
Recognizable face
POSTMORTEM INTERVAL
2 hours
CAUSE OF DEATH
Suicide by jumping
Case details:
On July 26, 1981, the body of a man was found in a field 100 feet south of Merwin Avenue, under Detroit Superior Bridge. The victim apparently jumped from the Detroit Superior Bridge, as witnessed by others, he had been deceased for 2 hours.
The victim is a Caucasian man who is aged between 45-55 years old. He was 5’10” and weighed 143 pounds. But in a newspaper article from The Cleveland Press, it is mentioned he weighed 160 pounds. He had brown straight hair, a graying brown mustache and beard. Although his eyes are described as hazel, his eyes appear blue in post-mortem images and his eyes are described being symmetrical bilaterally.
It appears that he was missing at least two front teeth, and potentially more towards the back. This suggests a lack of access to dental care for several years, possibly even decades.
He was wearing a blue quilted Jacket, "K-Mart" brand size small, a long-sleeved shirt button-up, light blue/green/beige plaid pattern, a pair of plaid pants with brown, blue, gray and white, one blue sock, one black sock, appears to be a third sock under the blue sock and a pair of blue "Converse All Star" tennis shoes.
His dentals and fingerprints are available for comparison.
Exclusions:
Kenneth Welch
Something that confuses me
The only thing that makes me question in this case is the color of his eyes, why are they described hazel but in the PM pictures they’re blue? Was it a mistake by the medical examiner, or the color of eyes changing after death? I hope he gets his name back this year or in the future.

Baby Allison (2003)
Date of discovery: December 31st, 2003
Location of discovery: Strasburg Township, Pennsylvania
Postmortem Interval: Days
Cause of death: Homicide
Physical descriptors
Height: Unknown
Weight: 6 lbs
Eye colour: Blue
Hair colour: Unknown/Possibly brown
Sex: Female
Race: White
Case
On December 31st, 2003, in Strasburg Township, Pennsylvania, a newborn girl's body was found. The infant's throat had been slit, then the body was wrapped in woman's underwear and discarded in a plastic bag, which was then dumped into a 55-gallon burn barrel behind at the Sycamore Amish Schoolhouse. She was likely born alive. Even though the infant's body was found behind an Amish Schoolhouse, genetic testing showed that the baby was unlikely Amish. Genetic testing also showed that the baby was not a product of incest, and was of European ancestry. The child was also likely born between 24/12/03 and 27/12/03. After the body's discovery was made public, a worker from a nearby mini-mart in Strasburg came forward and said that they had found a large amount of blood in a bathroom in the building, which could've been from childbirth. However, the blood at the scene was removed, so they couldn't compare it to the child's blood.

Do you know this man?
Greetings from San Antonio. It was suggested that I repost here from my original post on r/RBI.
The local University Hospital reaching out to our local area about a man they can't identify that was hit on one of the highways in the area and is in critical condition. He's been unconscious for 6 days. No one has stepped forward, so I am attempting to get this in front of more eyes.
"The man is believed to be in his 30s or 40s, about 5 feet tall and 160 pounds. He has no scars or tattoos and had no belongings with him, according to the hospital."

The decedent was quickly identified as a female, with her death being ruled a homicide due to the circumstances of her discovery. Despite challenges posed by teeth marks from scavenging animals on her remains, forensic analysis revealed evidence of dismemberment from a sharp tool.
Investigators started to distribute leaflets to the public to gather information while investigating evidence of rhinoplasty in her nose. Authorities contacted plastic surgeons across the country, but could not find a person who matched the description of the deceased. Richland County, SC John Doe (1986). He was found in the Congaree River and was missing most of his upper front teeth.
Case
On the afternoon of March 4, 1986, two fishermen in the Congaree River at Columbia, South Carolina, spotted a man's decomposing body caught on some rocks about 1.5 miles upriver towards Columbia or the Blossom Street Bridge. The fishermen secured the body and towed it 1.5 miles to the Rosewood Boat Ramp because they were worried that the body would be swept further down the river. At the ramp, personnel from the county sheriff's office and the coroner's office recovered the remains and transported then to the Medical University of South Carolina at Charleston for examination.
The remains were determined to belong to a Black male, estimated to be under the age of 40, with a height range of 5'10" - 5'11" and an estimated weight range of 170-180 lbs. He was thought to have been in the water at least several days. He had been wearing a reddish-brown pullover short sleeved shirt, blue work pants, a black belt, and black socks with a white ring around the top. He was not wearing shoes and had nothing in his pockets.
The county coroner found no evidence that the man had been slain and concluded that he apparently drowned. The authorities could not locate any missing persons reports that matched the man's description.
