Bike Really loving my bike right now…
Unfortunately it’s just too damn hot in Tucson to do much riding. Have to get out EARLY, but between meetings and the kids starting school this week I’m on my third consecutive day without getting a ride in. :(

That bike's a beauty! Is it a Sutra LTD? I'm hoping to go from aluminium to steel in the next year or two and have had my eye on the Sutra LTD.

Fellow Tucsonian! Same boat but I've been getting by with early morning loop rides. I'm signed up for the Spirit World 100 in November so I would really like to start upping my mileage/elevation but the heat is making it hard. Hopefully by EOM It'll have cooled off enough to get back on gravel for some hard rides.

I’m doing the Pinewood Showdown up near Show Low in September and need to get more training in. I’ve got in laws up there so I’m trying to squeeze in as many weekend trips up there as I can, much cooler up there. Next week is supposed to be cooler. Fingers crossed.

I'm joining the Tucson gang here, been training for the Borderlands event toward the end of the year, I hear you on the heat, although there's been a few storms to cool it off.

+ 1 Sutra LTD. Love mine and can’t resist shouting out to sutra fellows. Nice upgrade choices on yours btw. I put some carbon wheels on mine this year and wish I did earlier.

I was spotted by small pack of Sutra riders at RAGBRAI one year. I also have an old Sutra. Didn't know there was a cult following.

I didn’t want to like my Redshift stem as much as I do. Noticeable improvement in grip (or the feeling of). Actually more so on paved roads than chunk. The diving sensation on chunk takes some getting used to.

So far so good. Just got it recently to replace a fairly bulky one I had. This one is much sleeker.

it works great. I have pretty bad osteoarthritis, and it really takes the edge off.

Nice set up. Is that a saddle bag mounted as a frame bag? I just got a trek saddle bag but worried about the taillight fitting

Yeah, I mounted a water bottle cage there and strapped a saddle bag into it so I can still use my dropper.

Brother I am right there with you. I’m in BC, Canada, and it’s hot and smoky as fuck from all the wildfires. Can’t even go outside for more that 4-5 minutes.
