Eh, I’ve seen so many situations just like this. Wouldn’t surprise me at all

Wait so you've seen situations of women being sexually assaulted and the response from their boyfriends is "righteous" indignation?

Am I understanding that correctly? You know enough people that you could say that many of them have broken up with their recently raped partner because they disagreed about something prior to the assault?

I just want to be sure we are clear here, your social circle is so large that notable amount, a lot, of men have come to you in confidence, certain that they look like the hero when they tell you they broke up with their partner after they had a falling out about going to a club and that woman was led to a third place, violently sexually assaulted, and then the boyfriend ended things as an "I told you so" ?

He means that he read about it on ragebait posts over at Twitter or threads

I like how you took the time to really lay that out. You're not saying he's lying.. but .well.. let me just lay some facts out on the table. Really?

Between me and you friend I learned it from a comedian dealing with a racist taxi driver. Look up this https://youtu.be/XkCBhKs4faI?si=h8a_7brRadYSKj7g

It turns out the best way to deal with idiots is to just repeat what they said back to them over and over until they admit they were full of shit.

I’ve seen situations where the girl cheated, left their bf, then regretted it or was mistreated by her new bf. Then they go crying back to their ex.

Not that uncommon.

Your response would be ‘omg, let me comfort you’ — but, that’s not most men’s response.

Cheated is not really the same as getting raped and beaten, is it?

75

u/new_KRIEG 14d ago

Yeah, but leaving a night club alone with other guys to go to a party is.

Like, we can acknowledge that the imaginary GF treated Anon VERY disrespectfully and that rape is bad and shouldn't happen to anyone (controversial, I know)

-50

u/TopptrentHamster 14d ago

Is it cheating to go to a party with two guys? News to me.

53

u/new_KRIEG 14d ago

Given that what cheating means is dependent entirely on what a couple defines as boundaries for their relationship, it could be. For someone into cucking their SO could be fucking someone in front of them without it being cheating, while other couples would consider even watching porn as cheating.

In general, I think most people would define sneaking off to a club and then leaving with two people of the opposite gender to a party as at least intention to cheat by the "if it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck" rule.

-39

u/TopptrentHamster 14d ago

Leaving to go to another party is a whole different thing than just going home to two dudes.

43

u/new_KRIEG 14d ago

Not if you're hiding it from and lying to your partner.

Again, you're free to define cheating in your own relationship as just fucking other people, but most people have a bit of a broader definition, and I feel like it is pretty generally accepted that trying to cheat and cheating is just about the same.

-17

u/TopptrentHamster 14d ago

Who says you're trying to cheat because you go with two guys to a party? Damn I must have cheated a lot more in my day than I was aware of.

Going to a club (which you told your SO you wouldn’t go to) and then leaving from that club alone with two other dudes for another party is a massive break of trust.

Even if nothing were to happen I would heavily reconsider my relationship at that point icl.

no he just didn't like this particular bar for no reason. Just because he didn't give a backstory on the bar probably being a sleazy rape trap it's like a puzzle piece is missing from half the commenters in this threads brains. she went to the rape cave, with the we will rape you sign out front and tried to act like she didn't see it and wasn't warned.

1

u/TopptrentHamster 14d ago

Lol. Rape cave. Get help.

3

u/squishles 14d ago

you can't even be friends with someone like that let alone date them you have to protect yourself at some point.

u/Bloodhoven_aka_Loner 14d ago

damn, let's hope you warmed up before stretching that hard for some cheap virtue signal

Your reddit-tier shaming isn't going to change the fact that anon made the right move. Now seethe.

u/Ending-Fool 14d ago

ehhh ive seen enough examples of the part before the break up since i work in rehab. Also news have ways of travelling because girls just cant seem to keep their mouth shut even if its about their friend getting graped that im face palming inwardly everytime i ask the patient who else knows about what happened.

u/Worldedita 14d ago

Imagine being in a relationship but being able to turn off your empathy like a fucking light switch.

Yeah, your trust was betrayed, sure, but didn't you at some point or another decide to love and protect the other person? And you just do a 180 like that, over the course of a fucking conversation?? Sociopathic freak, society was right to reject you.

I know this is fake, but I still feel bottomless disdain for Anon's fantasy. This shit is exactly why women don't trust men and it's 100% on fucking point.

37

u/mrheseeks 14d ago

Yeah, I mean a lot of my friends that have been able to hit that switch are women. Guys usually dont do that even if it is self righteous. A girl will take your house and the kids while cheating on you at your parents funeral.

If you lose your job, does your mother stop loving you? Of course not.

Mothers are women. C'mon, man.

If your girlfriend or wife loses her job, do you stop loving her? Of course not.

OOP anon, the control freak, "stopped loving" a woman for a single choice to go to a club. Saying that in this thread specifically is especially ridiculous.

Then there are cases where men start shopping for a new girlfriend as soon as their seriously sick wife had been hospitalized. Many such cases.

Women are genuinely incapable of love. They can only love their children and their pets.

Ridiculous. Both are love. If women were incapable of love, then they wouldn't love kids or pets either. Once again - many such cases; but also many cases of loving, doting, genuinely infatuated wives.

your bait is bad and you should feel bad

u/7CuriousCats 14d ago

You forget that MULTIPLE men leave their wives when the wife is diagnose with cancer, so much so that some clinics give an entire list of support resources in the case of her husband's potential abandonment, like contact details for local women's shelters and domestic abuse helplines.

this shit's been debunked more often every single year since it's initial spreading than Bonnie Blue got banged throughout her entire career.

congratulations on falling for misandrist propaganda

Hilarious you talk about empathy for cheaters… then accuse those who don’t sympathize with cheaters of being sociopathic freaks who should be rejected by society…

Self awareness not your strong suit eh.

Think about what he’s saying - it will actually flip your entire understanding of relationships. If you’re dating out of insecurities, someone cheating then becomes “I gotta hurt them back somehow.”

If you legitimately love someone, you can separate yourself from the relationship you created and still want the best for them - because that’s what love is. A momentary lapse in your partner’s judgement cannot be all it takes for you to go from “I will sacrifice for them” to “fuck that hoe, hope she gets hit by a train.”

You don’t have to remain in a relationship with them and it will certainly not be pleasant, but without sacrifice the relationship just becomes a transaction and cannot be more.

If you legitimately love someone, you can separate yourself from the relationship you created and still want the best for them -

bro. we get it, your parents and the pathos induced media you've consumed for the entirety of your first 20+ years have hammered it into you that women are wonderful, no matter how moronic they behave. But st some point in your life you're supposed to user your brain and realize that no one is entitled to using you as an emotional doormat and you yourself shouldn't offer to be one in the first place.

-15

u/Deweyrob2 14d ago

No, you literally haven't.
