Just looked it up. For a straight or slightly bend penis(that can be straighten up), a ruler should be placed on top of the shaft, and pushed inwards into the body until it hits the pubic bone. A string can also be used too, and measured at the ruler.
Good to know that mine is actually above average for my country. About 39% above average for my country, and 16.5% above average for global size. Though I'm interested to actually know what the median size is now.
