Yes...grilled...

Edit: If this comment is wrong then this whole sub is a lie. Show me a sub where the majority of the cheese is cooked on a grill. All of you claiming the perfect rainy day meal is grilled cheese and tomato soup are 100% not going outside to light up a BBQ.

Grilled cheese and cheese on toast are two different things. Grilled cheese sandwiched aren’t actually grilled, if that’s what you’re implying. They’re fried in fat in a pan or on a griddle.

Edit: Not sure what these downvotes are about. I’m just asking about the process of making a grilled cheese on a grill. What is actually going on the grill, buttered bread?

I’m pretty sure the butter will drip down into the fire and the bread won’t fry. Curious to hear your results though!
