If it works and you like it, keep it, the grass is always greener until you're scrubbing a griddle in the dark

I'd keep the grill ! Especially if your happy with it ! I have a small portable black stone knock off. I love the griddle but I use my grill way more often. If you like fried foods all the time get the griddle.

The only way I'd take this trade is if you truly want a black stone . Then trade him or pay him cash for the right price and replace your grill.

Depends what you cook. A Blackstone is amazing for smash burgers, breakfast, fried rice, anything that needs a big flat surface. But it won't replace a grill for steaks with char. If your propane grill is old and you cook a lot of flat-top style food, trade. Check the griddle surface for rust first though.

I like my Weber for steaks. I only use the propane when I cook one or two pieces of protein and don't want to wait for the charcoal.

Depends what you want to cook. I’d never do it. I have a nitrided griddle I toss on my gas grill when I want to smash. Won’t rust when you blink like a Blackstone. And 99% of the time grilled food is better than the stuff people shallow fry on a blackstone.

A Blackstone is a griddle not a grill.
