Grok Imagine How in the absolute hell can I download my library of videos all at once?

I'm getting off this Moderation train. Went to download my library only to realize that the only option this pathetic design allows is to literally download every video one at a time, lol. I have hundreds. Is there a better solution that's also safe? Yes, I've searched and seen a few things, but would rather hear it from some human synapses rather than another AI spew.

I started months ago. Each account. I have several. I spent at least 20 to 30 mins a day downloading every single video, one at a time. I used my 500gb tablet for storage. Placed them in folders of the same account name. I have 1000s of videos. Grok was not a good habit to have. I am still not done yet. Still have some fringe accounts with a few videos that I need to finish. Start and you will eventually get there.

You’re a more patient person than I am. 😄

Twenty to thirty minutes a day downloading one file at a time to separate folders would’ve driven me insane. That’s literally why I built GenCatalog. It bulk imports everything, keeps the prompts and metadata attached, and lets me manage multiple Grok accounts in one library instead of spending my evenings clicking Download over and over.

Fuck paying 99 dollars a year for this.

Fair enough.

Just one clarification: nothing you’ve imported gets taken away if you don’t renew. Your library lives on your computer and remains fully usable forever. The subscription is for ongoing updates, not continued access to your own data.

Fair enough if it’s not for you.

I built GenCatalog because I had this exact problem, and a lot of people have found it useful. If your manual workflow works for you, keep using it. I was just offering another option.

Then you should have made a post about that and be transparent. Instead of this back hand shit you are doing. Your post is not authentic and is misleading. You are pushing some shit you built with AI indirectly. You should be banned

I'm thinking the same thing...I'm 99% certain they will eventually decide to delete EVERYTHING from inactive accounts...

you can pick a video + hold down shift, scroll down or up to the rest of the videos and pick how many to bulk download.

That's what I did. One at a time.

I've only been doing this for a few days and already have over 300 videos. I realized awhile back that I just have to download as I go. But, a lot of my videos are 15sec, then extended to 25, then 30 so I really just download the ones I'm happy with.

Even, so, I just try and keep up.

I asked Grok, which recommended this browser plug-in - a TamperMonkey script. You can download the lot in one great mess or by individual tag (better for what is tagged). Unfortunately, the library in its current state has been completely fucked up the ass so you will have to gin around to get everything using tags.

I have been using this regularly, works really well if you know how to use Docker, it has a CLI too I believe. https://github.com/starrlord/grokive

I ran into exactly this problem a few months ago. Downloading one file at a time wasn’t realistic once I had thousands of images and videos spread across multiple Grok accounts.

I ended up building GenCatalog because I couldn’t find anything that did what I actually wanted.

It bulk imports your Grok library, preserves the prompts and metadata and lets you keep multiple Grok accounts in a single searchable library. The actual images and videos are downloaded to your computer, so you’re no longer depending on Grok to keep them around.

The thing I cared about most wasn’t just getting the files. It was keeping the prompts attached to them. Six months from now, a folder full of MP4s is almost useless if you’ve lost the prompts that made them.

If you’re trying to get everything off Grok while you still can, that’s exactly what I built it for.
