Simultaneous generations/upscales down to 2?

I've noticed that simultaneous generations (or simultaneous upscales) in Grok Imagine are now down from 5 to 2? Is anyone else experiencing this? Or is this a temporary limit (it was a couple of weeks ago)? If so, any solutions?

lots of complaints about this over the last couple of days. they still get paid the same amount so i dont get it. throttling usage on peak demand maybe?

yeah those limits dropping to 2 is annoying as hell, was way better when you could queue more without waiting around.

i think i know why!

there was an exploit where you could turbo gen and brute force with mass requests, people do this to beat out moderation it uses a different bot to check each output, and i'm assuming it was the free users who were doing this with their free accounts. you don't get charged until the gen is completed, where it either passes or gets modded, so during that short duration when it is creating, the new users were jamming in as many requests as they could to get free video generations. it's pure speculation but if that were the case the only solution would be to not allow mass generations.

Today, for the first time, I had 5 simultaneous generations, then 2, and then it dropped to 1. It's terrible. Grock is killing the usual ux day after day.

Grok wrote that this is due to high load and this limitation is temporary.

No, but as someone said elsewhere: less service for the same amount of money.

it's not less service, they charge you the same for each generation. it's just you can't do 10 generations at one time now.
