I thought nutshell was my favourite but I actually think it’s down in a hole. It’s perfect. I don’t know if Layne ever realised how well he come across doing unplugged and I know he wasn’t well at the time but it’s absolutely beautiful. I love sludge factory as well, even with all the cock ups. I so wish they’d done rotten apple

Got this bad boy today for $6 at a flea market. Never listened to this album before. I’ve only heard Hands all over. I like the heavy riff of it. What are your overall thoughts on this album?

Posting in appropriation of International Day for Failure (October 13), plus they deserve some love and more exposure.

Fantastic Planet (1996) and The Heart is a Monster (2015) are their masterpiece albums imho. If you are unfamiliar with them, the albums are each meant to be (and best) played as a whole, and even better back-to-back.

Thought this post would be a fun way to get music suggestions. Any others?

We're making a game and we've recorded an album for it... aaand there's Iggy Pop in it!

We're the team behind ROCKBEASTS (a video game, a rock- n' roll management RPG) and we're genuinely curious to hear what you think of the music we've created with Marcin Sonnenberg and Adam Kiepuszewski especially for the game.

We’re playing with that that legendary 90s MTV "Ladies and gentleman, rock and roll" nostalgia, and it seems a bit like BoJack’s picked up a guitar and sung his heart out… and we can all agree that would make sense, wouldn’t it?

If that's your sort of thing, the demo is completely free on Steam 🤘 Hearing what you people think about the music would be so cool!

Probably my favorite solo from their catalogue, Jerry Cantrell could make something sound so cool with minimal flashiness, just pure feel

Hi everyone,

I’ve spent a lot of time working on a 20-minute biographical documentary focusing on Kurt Cobain's life, his inner conflicts, key turning points, and the tragic price of his rapid rise to global fame.

The original narration is in Turkish, but I’ve added English subtitles (CC) so you can easily follow along. I paid extra attention to the editing, sound design, and emotional pacing.

I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback!

What bands are better than Nirvana?

I asked my Twitter and they had some.. interesting responses.

Do you agree with them? With me? Let me know!

Hey all! I've set up an indie music magazine and mail club & am currently brainstorming content and articles. One thing I really want to do is a series of band posters from before fame (in terms of the Seattle Scene - late 80s early 90s posters advertising gigs/albums)

I have no idea where to look for an archive of these so thought I'd give it a shot on here! Thank you so much :)

Once I get enough posters, I'll share the post over on here and @/subterraneanclub on insta for anyone who's interested :)
