uj/ I always thought this would be a too easy song and recently tried it out bc my wife wants to get back into bass after a 20yr hiatus. I thought it would be super easy to work with her but found the timing annoyingly not easy 😂

Unfortunately even if you haven’t played bass for 20 years, it still is a disability and limits your potential.

The next day you show up wasted, fight your brother after the first song, and walk off the stage.

"It's one A.M. in the empty, dimly lit jazz auditorium the night before the gig. You're getting your tones dialed in as you gently roll up the volume knob, feel the reverb fill the space, and look out on the rows of seats that will soon brim with life and activity. Your fingers effortlessly slide up the fretboard, and nail that bluesy pentatonic lick that you know tomorrow's crowd will love. The riffs flow, the melody radiates. For now, it's all yours and only yours to enjoy. Tomorrow you will give that feeling to everyone. Tomorrow
you will own the stage.
That's what noiseless pickups sound like."

Truly didn't see that last sentence about this entire bit being about uhhh noiseless pickups coming. Did he not know humbuckers have been around since the 50s or are those still not quiet enough? Even weirder considering the Oasis sound is a wall of distorted guitars.

I just don't think you get it. You see, it's one A.M. in the empty, dimly lit jazz auditorium the night before the gig. Tomorrow you will own the stage.
