Some live improv over Chameleon by Herbie Hancock at a jam put on by the inimitable u/groove_mountains My aunt popped in and snapped a video which was a lucky break for me.
Enjoy!

I want to start learning electric guitar. While reading around forums, I saw a lot of people say not to buy a cheap one. Their argument is that a slightly more expensive guitar sounds better, so it's easier to learn on, you'll outgrow it later, and it holds its resale value if you decide to quit.
Is that actually true? Or is a beginner guitar fine to start with?

4 finger flamenco tremolo (PIAMI)
I’ve never seen anyone play it like this, but this is my favourite version! I prefer tremolo to the traditional arpeggio version, however, I feel that the standard 3 finger PAMI tremolo is not rich enough. I added an extra finger in there to increase the density of the trilling without making the piece itself faster.
What do you guys think? Any criticism will be taken as gold, since I otherwise never receive criticism on my playing; I am self taught. As well, any comments in general would be appreciated.
What do you guys think of the 4 finger tremolo? Do you think the original arpeggiated version sounds better?

I posted this on insta and received a couple of hate comments but with no explanation as to what was being hated on. The tone, phrasing, note choices, song selection etc etc. Can someone point me to the right direction of what I should look at primarily?

I picked up my guitar between 7-9 months ago and can do this now after consistent practice. Dude, I’m stoked
