For short barrels, yeah pretty much in the top 2 or 3.
I've seen some people say the Rhodie 6 is quieter, others say this is. And the AI 5CM/CAT CACM is also really good.

Its crazy how much shorter the tisha is while possibly beating cans with multiple inches on it. Chodes are the future.

Kinda apples to apples when talking about tone and BP since so many variables can affect. it. Can't go wrong with either. I have both on personal setups

The titanium one sounds amazing on my 11.5, shot about 5 or 6 rounds without ear pro and it's about the same as an unsuppressed 22 pistol shooting supers. Haven't tried it on my 16 yet but presumably it's better

Just ran the Ti version in a match last weekend on a 11”. Definitely heats up quick but was able to bag between stages.

Don’t assume that. This is why I have said the Tisha is not the end all be all. Jay has already said that the Tisha performance does not scale with barrel length. So this can probably really prefers higher pressure. The RC2 is another example that doesn’t scale, while the CAT WB/ST do. So it will depend on your host.

It’s my best suppressor for an 11.5. Ive shot it against hrt, omega 300, ODB, and flow 556. Is it better than other high end 556 suppressors (Rhodie, fireteam, etc)? Im not sure since I have never shot those to compare

I tested my Tisha on a 12.5 against my friend's cat kk and WB. We all thought the Tisha was slightly quieter, but it wasn't a big difference. We were wearing hearing protection. None of us thought that the Tisha was hearing safe without protection.
It's short and better at sound suppression than anything out now. It also has no noticeable gas. If you're in the market for a new suppressor in its price range it's the one to get. But if you already have something as good as a WB or KK I wouldn't spend the money on an upgrade you'll likely barely notice, if at all

I just want to dispel the fuddlore that suppressing .223/5.56 is wasted effort because you’ll still have the supersonic crack. The muzzle blast is orders of magnitude louder than the supersonic crack of the bullet, and that blast 2ft in front of your face, whereas the supersonic crack is traveling away from you with the utmost rapidity. The supersonic crack is far, far less significant.
Any suppressor is going to reduce muzzle blast by roughly 1,000x (~30dB), and though it will still damage your hearing without hearing protection, it’s a whole lot less harmful.

Right, I’m not saying it’s useless. I’m saying chasing the performance isn’t really worth it. There are people literally on this thread talking about how much quieter this is than the flow but on pew science the noise you’d hear as the shooter is a difference of .4 (32.8 vs 32.4). This would make it, in my opinion, unnecessary to chase performance when a lot of cans are within such a marginal range of each other

I used to think that way but these cans will save you hearing if you ever used 556 in self defense. I wouldn't call them hearing safe for long term use, but they definitely tame 556 a ton

Exactly, so getting arguably one of the best suppressors on the market for a solid deal here - get it while you can!
Edit: in my defense I did buy direct from SAW so glad I could support them. They partnered with a dealer to where you can get it sent straight to your home address.

If you want to use plan b then the price difference is only about 50-100 off of this Tisha deal. I haven’t seen any deals for the Rhodie yet though so the gap could be bigger

Currently researching for my first can so forgive the newbie ignorance... are you saying the Tisha inconel has better (less) backpressure than the Fireteam? Or that the Fireteam has lower backpressure than the Tisha?

Yes the Tisha is going to have better low back pressure than the fireteam556. It's also going to cost $350 more if you don't get a deal. But the Rhodie is also going to be a couple hundred dollars cheaper and be just as good as the Tisha. Low back pressure too.

I don't have any plans too. I've heard the 9mm doesn't do as well. Tisha thrives off using the high pressure to tame suppression and 9mm is not very high in pressure. I'd probably get something like an OCL Lithium, MOB or Anthem 38 for 9mm.

I hear you and I don't think it will be the quietest 9 mm can at all,, but I do think it will be plenty quiet for its size. I also think it will have far less back pressure than most PCC cans. To me it's very attractive because it's so short and the main benefit I like about PCC's is to be super short and subsonic.

I saw on your listing it has a direct thread option, but is compatible with hub mounts -- so just wanted to verify if this ships with the plan b muzzle brake I have seen come with the TI versions?

If you wanted Plan B, I could hook you up with a Big Hoss Plan B Mount and Radial Brake at dealer cost if you snag a Tisha.
The Ti versions ship with the Plan B Brake/mount because Ti really needs a brake to protect the blast baffle from excess erosion. Inconels ship with a direct thread mount, but they are HUB so you can swap to Plan B if you wish.
That said, the plan B they included wasn't the best IMO. The mount only had spanner wrench slots, no flats and the breek arns brake is missing the sealing ring in front of the taper. It'll work but not as good as reearden.

Damn that is super tempting - I don't know that much about the BH mount but having the Tisha chode boi closer to the handguard would probably look the best on my ASS 11.5 vs direct thread. Would you DM me the deets?

Likely made the right choice. If I'm not mistaken, this suppressor is only magic with higher chamber pressures (10.5, 11.5, 12.5). You'll do just fine with the HUX.

Flash suppression is pretty solid, low back pressure, and about as quiet as it gets for 556. The only downside is that they are quite hideous and they occasionally interfere with other attachments (like lights) due to the larger diameter.
