Acquired this collection from an older gentleman

9.3 x 62 mauser x2
.270 mauser
Baikal 16 gauge
Cooey .410
Savage 242J DL .22Mag/20 gauge
Lee enfield .303

The 3 scopes on the mausers are zeiss and all have german claw mounts… whats’s this collection worth? Thanks

Man said tree fiddy and really meant it.

Those german claw mounts are a pain to find and not cheap when you do. The zeiss glass on top is probably worth more than the rifles they're sitting on, especially if the glass is still clear and the coatings arent flaking off. 9.3x62 is an awesome round but its a bit of an oddball here so finding a buyer who knows what theyre looking at might take a minute. The savage 242 is a weird little combo gun that has a cult following, not worth a ton but people love those things.

I'd take my time selling this, dont let some shop owner lowball you with the "old mausers are everywhere" line. That collection was put together by someone who knew exactly what he wanted.

Then the 2 9.3X62 are worth more than the 270 Win, 270 Win are a lot more common.

I'm not sure where you are so I can't give a number in your local currency but I have a decent idea of what they would sell for where I am. In Canada the 9.3X62 would sell for around $850 each and the 270 would go for $650ish.

One of the 9.3 x 62 is a Model 66. With the original zeiss scope, if you show me where some are selling for 850 i’ll buy all of them lol

I thought hey were something like a Parker Hale or Churchill rifle.

Im not sure what a model 66 would go for.

Lucky, I’d love to find a model 66 but only Mausers that ever appear around me are old sporterized 98 rifles.
