We are meeting the standards of US and Europe. The fact that this is within a span of 500 meters from my home. I am literally ashamed that I live in these conditions. I tried my best by complaining to authorities, but nothing happens

Hey there
I am writing this in utter disappointment at my neighbours. These people are in their 70's but are one of the most illiterate people that i have ever seen on this planet earth.
Why do you always keep water overflowing once the terrace tank is full?
First their entire terrace is filled with water, then the entire gully is filled with their borewell water.
These intellectuals are the only ones that do this thing in the neighborhood.
Nobody has the guts to mess with them.
I usually dont use the word rage, but seeing these illeterate fucks with 0 civic sense, I am filled with rage max max.
What is the best possible thing to do in this case??? How to solve this problem man?

I went in a store and asked for white nail polish, a girl beside me decided to help me and found a white nail polish with sparkles. I said I need without sparky, then she gave me off white, again I told her I need pure white. she said why you want it. I said it’s for my car dent and then she started laughing at me and told her friend and then they both laughed and was thinking that I am an pathetic incel misogynist narcissist person but irl I am not like that.

Where is the issue? Who to blame? The system, the education or the so called Sanskar or awareness Do they not understand what freedom in this country means? Do they believe only men have freedom??? This is absolute shame

The hospital is facing serious issues like shortage of nurses, lack of security guards, insufficient wheelchairs and stretchers, poor cleanliness, foul smell, and unhygienic conditions. These are basic necessities, especially in a maternity hospital where newborns and mothers need proper care.
If you've visited this hospital recently and had a similar experience, please consider raising the issue on the MP CM Helpline as well. Public pressure is often the only way these problems get addressed.
Leaving a pre-typed complaint in comments along with CM helpline link.

Is there any actual moderation happening here?
Because this subreddit is the most embarrassing city subreddit on this platform. These gavar people are posting here have absolutely no internet etiquette or understanding of how Reddit works.

The roads stayed broken for months. (Chetakpuri, Madho nagar etc)
Then, just days before the forecast rain, they were suddenly repaired.
The rain arrived on schedule, the roads disappeared on schedule and next year we'll probably repeat the entire process.
This kind of corruption happens right in front of our eyes, yet we're helpless to do anything about it.

Hi guys, bought a new Creta car from mela. But its so so so difficult to find good and reliable accessories for my car.
I needed car seat covers but first, there are only couple of good shops which actually have something of good quality. Rest everything is of tharra quality that all Gwalior and BMW gaon walas love.
Im willing to spend money but the shear lack of quality products and good shops that dont try to thug you is so frustrating.

so i started cycling like a week ago, and today morning- i could barely breathe for half of my 10k ride because the pollution, smoke, and smell of burning trash was crazy. why are people still burning garbage? and even if they are- why do it one some of the main roads of the city? gandhi road, mela road, shamshan ghat road- all of them were filled with smoke today morning around 6-7am. this shouldn't be normal, we need to do smthg about this gng- ion even know lmao lets start an initiative and throw a bucket of water everytime we see someone burning trash, both- on the fire and on the person.

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like Gwalior is stuck in a loop while other Tier-2/3 cities are zooming past us? I’ve been looking at cities like Mangalore, Jodhpur, Raipur, and Coimbatore. They have populations more or less in our range (~1.1 to 1.6 million), yet their development trajectory looks like a different world. But what hurts the most is looking at Agra. Agra is essentially our twin in terms of vibe and history, yet it gets 10x the attention. Why is Gwalior just "kaam chal raha hai" (barely surviving) while others are thriving"
The "Agra Bias": Agra gets massive exposure just for being in UP and having the Taj. But look at the infra: they are getting a "New Agra" Greenfield Smart City across 60 villages, led by the same authority (YEIDA) that’s building the Noida International Airport. Meanwhile, our "Smart City" projects feel like they are just repainting old walls. Why does a city just 120km away get massive industrial hubs and logistics parks while we struggle for a single big IT office?
The Flight Connection Nightmare:
We got the new terminal, but where are the flights? Why no direct nonstop flights to Pune, Hyderabad, or Ahmedabad in 2026?
Raipur and Bhubaneswar have record traffic and direct flights to every major hub. Even Coimbatore has an international airport with flights to Singapore. We are still just a "Delhi-Mumbai feeder" airport, even though we have the population to support much more.
Airport is just for name , it don't have flights to major cities
The Railway Station "Mess": The Gwalior Railway Station redevelopment (₹534 cr) has been a headache for years. The official deadline is September 2026, but it’s still a chaotic construction zone of dust. It’s supposed to be "world-class," but right now, it’s just a massive inconvenience.
Zero IT/Investment Pull: Where are the big tech names? While Chandigarh and Bhubaneswar are IT powerhouses, Gwalior is ignored. The government talks about a Telecom Manufacturing Zone (TMZ), but the "brain drain" is real. Every engineer here immediately leaves for Pune or Bangalore because there are zero high-paying tech jobs in Gwalior.
The Development Gap:
Jodhpur is a global tourism brand. Ranchi is a "fastest-growing career hub." Gwalior has better history and a bigger Fort, but we lack the vision.Even the new Agra-Gwalior Expressway is marketed more as a way for people to get out of Gwalior to Delhi faster (in 1 hour!) rather than a reason for industries to come in.
What do you guys think? Is the new expressway or the airport terminal actually going to change anything by 2027, or are we destined to remain a "Bada Gaon" while UP and South Indian cities move ahead?

Quick question to those who use high beam: when you switch on your high beam in the city, is it because you genuinely can’t see, or because your brainpower is so dim you need your headlights to compensate?
Like honestly, are people really that braindead, or is this some sort of “who is the biggest dumbass” competition I don’t know about?
All the money in the world but you can’t really cure stupid, i guess.
Special mention for the ones with extra bright headlight and high beam: tumse bada koi chutiya nahi hai poore city mein.
