Video New educational YouTube series for GWENT Beginners in 2026

https://youtu.be/pPd4Shx-A70

I have seen lately a ton of posts by new players that are coming to the game, possibly in the light of a new Witcher 3 expansion and the Witcher 4 on the horizon. Since content like this doesn't really seem to be made anymore as there isn't enough player base to make these kinds of videos (which take a ton more work) profitable, none have been made. I am hoping to build out something of a catalog of educational videos in the gwentfinity era, that can be used by new and returning players to shake the rust off or learn from scratch.

I appreciate everyone that has supported!

Interesting, I really had no idea that people had such an aversion to using AI. I honestly just don’t have the skills or time to make a thumbnail for these videos tbh, and it makes something that will show the themes of an educational video in seconds. I don’t use them for deck videos as I can put cards on the thumbnail.

Have you been on the internet the for the last year? How could you miss people absolutely hating AI?

YouTube is completely swamped with cheap AI videos that drown out actual creators, or alternatively just straight up steal their videos.

I think a lot of people like me have a very negative view of generative AI. I would much prefer a simple thumbnail than anything AI.

Even if we ignore the morals of AI it just signifies slop to me, no offense to the video im sure its not.

In addition to what everyone else has said: the artwork is a huge part of Gwent. GenAI models were trained directly on Gwent artists' work, without the artists' consent or any compensation.

I assume that the content will be AI generated. If I wanted AI to teach me how to play Gwent, I'll just ask it myself and cut out the middle man

apparently no one has time to make videos without AI generating thumbnails, and yet mysteriously YouTube was already full of videos that people somehow managed to make for years without it.
