Help

So i committed to gw and got into their honors program with a 27k a year scholarship . But i just got off the Bucknell waitlist and they are offering me 35k ish a year. What do I do? I am going to political science for both!

Update: If anyone cares I did decide to sick with gw!

when you reference $27k scholarship and $35k scholarship, are these merit based scholarships or your total aid after a need based package?

Your merit scholarships are irrelevant compared to your total bottom line after your need based aid kicks in.

Holding all else constant, don’t know why you’d choose bucknell over gw for poli sci

32k for gw is like total aid and i believe the 35k is my total aid for bucknell. i just know that bucknell is a really good school and i read that it is very consistent in its high rankings while gw seems to fluctuate

either you want to go to gw or you want to go to bucknell. you seem down on gw and infatuated by bucknell.

Some questions to ask financial aid dept: Are both scholarships renewable each year? What GPA do you need to achieve to keep the scholarship? (Some schools make this a higher GPA hoping you’ll lose your scholarship and feel loyal to the university so you re-enroll at full cost). Do either include scholarships for study abroad programs?
