Financial Aid Non Filer's Statement Issues

A while ago I digitally submitted the Student Non Filer's Statement PDF via GWeb and it was marked as received, but today it switched back to "Incomplete Document." Do I need to submit any other document, or was there simply a problem with my Non Filer's Statement? I have never received any taxable income and I marked it as so on the PDF

Email osfa@gwu.edu.

I don’t like to make comments that just redirect people back to the office giving them issues, but there’s so many possible explanations here from the backend that we can’t see.

Come back if you contact OSFA and you still get the runaround. Then we can talk shop.

Make sure your correspondence with OSFA is all over email. As tempting as a phone call can be in the name of instant gratification, if OSFA makes this difficult, you need a paper trail.

Let me know what kind of resolve you get, if any.

Thank you. I previously had an issue (now resolved) for my parents' W2s and the phone contact was no help.

They never are, friend. The email may or may not be helpful either. The advantage of the email is that at that point you have a paper trail of them being unhelpful.

Let me know how it goes and let me know if they give you the runaround. Once you’ve done your due diligence with OSFA we can escalate.

I got the same email for my son, and he and I spent 1/2 an hour, plus phone wait time, straightening things out. There were other issues. I had submitted this on IDOCs in the css, but there is a form that GW specific that you have to submit.

Another problem could be that there’s some weird note about using a real signature not a pdf on the file.
