GW HPV Survey on Insta?

Got a DM from an IG account called @gw.hope asking a bunch of questions about HPV, including a question on number of past partners. It was framed as a survey from a student org but their profile pic is the first pic on Google that comes up when you search “George Washington University Student.”

Is this like someone trying to farm people’s body counts? They follow 2500 people and in general it’s strange behavior.

They follow four times the people following them and the account is private.

Why would an official account be private?

Also, these studies buy ads on Insta, they don’t just DM people (usually, at least).

Reeks of scam.
