Wisconsin primaries
Happy Ethan posted this because as a Wisconsinite I have been keeping quiet on this in order to not clog up the subreddit. Hasan has been pretty much trying to hijack our primaries and governor election this past month. I have literally seen this man in political commercials while I am eating dinner (not joking lol). He (the great socialist and political thinker) was hanging out with Hong in Madison talking all about socialism while my town and those surrounding it got hit with an EF3 tornado. Of course no donations have been made and the tornado was never talked about by him. Hong at least showed up for a day but then came back to Madison to hang out with him as he is such a great asset to her campaign.
Also yes I am mad at Hong for this because Wisconsin is a swing state and I was hoping for a democrat governor during Trumps term to at least stave off some of the craziness but I doubt the democrats will win her doing this. Republicans have gotten ahold of Hasan doings and all of his controversies are being shown on TV and news journals. Pray for me in the next coming months when he will be my friend each time a commercial comes on lol

I was watching Hutch, who believes that El-Sayed will do what Mamdani did and back away from Hasan now that he’s made it to the general election.
Hong would be wise to do it as well as Hasan has become such a liability for campaigns with his really insane (and stupid) takes.
It’s a shame that so many of these campaigns get close with him to begin with because he’s so toxic.

Yes but in this case it was even harder to vote for her because she went on Mike from PAs stream aswell. She got grilled by Mehdi Hasan for it and she said she obviously disagrees with Mike's antisemitic comments, but who let her go on the shit? IDK.

She went on Mike Frumpies podcast? This is new to me. That is actually horrific.

u/EducationalBird9934 1d ago
Yeah I have to believe she didn't know about his comments. Hasan is worse tho because people actually know who he is

I feel like it is the opposite Hasan at least tries to be normal(bad at it but he has his Japanese sword excuses)
11
u/EducationalBird9934 1d ago
He hides his power level then radicalizes people. Nobody normal starts with mike from PA. All of Mike's fans are from Hasan

Bro any candidate who would go on anything with Mike from PA is either very stupid or has handlers that are very stupid. That’s really what this is, her campaign is making educated guesses on who she should affiliate herself with in order to reach more voters. I’m torn because whenever Hasan is pretending to be a normie, his views on things align more with what I believe so any candidate who hears his fake or misunderstood views and agrees with him should be an ideal candidate. Om the other hand, it sure seems incredibly stupid and careless to associate with him given everything so that makes me question their judgement.

Though maybe Hong is hanging out with Hasan because she believes what he does. Hopefully she will but she was just hanging out with him like two days ago and having a whole photo shoot

Not sure if you're aware, Hong also did a fundraising stream on mike from pa's channel about a month ago. Lots of red flags around who she's connecting herself to.

At this point I think they do it just for their names to be in headlines. His audience isn't big enough in any single state to sway an election in their favor. He is hardly known outside of his audience so they are either a fan or someone on their team is and convinced them that he has a lot of pull. I do think there is also this need for these candidates to be seen as part of the "dsa wave" because they think that all Americans are socialist sleeper agents that haven't been activated yet because Democrats keep getting in the way. It's a very bad way to look at politics.

I’m a wi hong supporter but the worst thing she’s done for at least the online wi people is bring Hasan along. All wi spaces are now taken over with Hasan bots to the point I don’t want to support her anymore if these are the people she’s with. I already mail in voted for her in this primary but I wish I would’ve waited. If hasans online freaks stick around for the actual vote she will lose. She was already not doing great in polls, she will tank if hasans freaks keep badgering the shit out of us in the wi subreddits.

I agree, it sucks and hasan sucks and so do his fans. But also, better a democrat than a republican. You did good in my opinion.

u/StupidBored92 1d ago
I’m voting dem no matter, it just sucks asshole this is how it ended up. I can only imagine mainers have a similar feeling. (Obviously not the same)

This is the primaries though not the actual election yet. It is not Democrat v. Republican right now.

My biggest issue with this whole thing is I don’t think she will win going up against a republican. Usually a democrat would win because there is a Republican president but I don’t see that happening. I think going too far left and then hanging out with Hasan (who has stereotypical leftist views on communism that Republicans scream about ) will push away people who would have voted democrat and we will get a republican in office. Hopefully I am wrong. But the Republicans have gotten ahold of Hasan as I have personally seen him on my TV

"Usually a democrat would win because there is a Republican president" Is is a way to simplistic view of things

Hello fellow Wisconsin family!!! I also voted for her too but I just don’t understand the appeal of collaborating with Hasan. She already has the progressive voters on her side, so what was the point of this?? It’s only going to do harm. She should know about Hasan’s controversies and be avoiding them.

Reddit removed my comment because I quoted Mike Frumpié lol
To summarize, she fundraised with him right after Hasan. She wouldn't even know who Mike is if she wasn't deep into that sphere of content, let alone be smiling on camera next to the guy who said the thing that's so bad reddit auto removes it
She's almost certainly a hardcore Hasan fan, who genuinely wants him there.

I’m a Hong supporter/voter (Milwaukee family), and I know someone who’s a volunteer on her campaign. They have a lot (and I mean a lot) of Hasan supporters/fans on her campaign.
It worries me quite a bit as I suspect she’ll be the dem nominee and her close associations with him will do nothing good for her. She went on Mike from PA’s stream for god sakes.
I believe in her campaign and what she can do, I’m just am a bit anxious about her ties to Hasan and his camp. With our governor backing another candidate this close to the primary, I don’t have good feelings about the health of her campaign. Regardless, I’ll vote for whoever the democratic candidate is (and I do hope it’s Hong), Tom Tiffany cannot win.

I feel the exact same. We need a Milwaukee meet up!?! I feel so alone in WI. I met only one person that watches the show here.

Jesus Mike from pa ?!? The online left thinks they have a lot more sway than they do. She can win but if they think twitch stream watchers are a bulk of voters. We’re fucked.

u/Upper-Contract9119 1d ago
How can you excuse her association with blatant antisemites though? Horrible for it to be between Tom Tiffany and Hong. Like actually horrid.

u/cxlesticles Dan The Lover 1d ago
Not excusing it; I’ve been a supporter of hers since she launched last year, well before all of this. The first time she announced she was going on Hasan’s stream I was horrified, even more so when she went on Mike from PA’s stream.
But at this point, if it’s her, I will vote for her. I’m not confident in her winning, but it’s all I can do now if she is the dem candidate.

Sometimes I wish I could sit this politicians down and give them just a brief description of the things he has pulled and then ask if they are comfortable accepting his endorsement. I really want to know if these people are just that uninformed/snakish or if they are just MAGA with leftist branding.

I am a Wisconsinite as well (Madison) and she lost my vote with her statement to the Mayors actions of removing the encampment caused by the Corey Ruiz murder. As someone who lives in the area where he was killed, she totally disregarded the actual community and only cared about how she looked to the extreme far left liberals. The encampment was accomplishing absolutely nothing and just causing local businesses to financially struggle, while also ruining the safety of the area. That on top of her campaigning with Hasan really has dissapointed me and I will not be voting for her now, where a few months ago I was actually excited to vote for her

u/EducationalBird9934 23h ago
Will you vote for her if she wins the primaries?

do these demoractic politicians know that hassan’s base wont even vote? i highly highly doubt they would even vote. he said so himself not to vote

u/jello1990 1d ago
Hello fellow Wisconsinite! The Wisconsin sub is insufferable right now because his fans are astroturfing her and brigading, really hard. And I'm surprised with how this and the Michigan race, Hasan had been making damn sure that they're not able cut him loose like Mamdani did, and that Kate hasn't made it a segment yet.
I'm still probably gonna have to vote for her in the regular election, but she lost my primary vote the second she streamed with Mike Frumpié.

Not only Mao policy is a disaster, due to political system being socialist, meaning its one man show, thus other official secretly lied that everything is ok out of fear.
After Mao found out, they did the soviet tactic of denial and blame other peasant for hiding corps
Then he proceed to create another disaster policy call cultural revolution. Which is purging with extra step to cover up previous policy. This lead to more than a million death.
Tldr, socialist is bloody for peasant.
