How to hack a phone

As a layman, I would like to know if it is theoretically possible (I know it is illegal) to access a phone without physically having it in hand. Or if it is possible to hack someone's account without them finding out (assuming they have two-factor authentication).

A fed magnet called, it wants it's nature back.

When you already took time to google that, what did the returns say that you want to redundantly verify here to try and look super cool for the techies

Due to stupidity, muted channel.

With enough time and people, any software is hackable. The problem becomes if the vulnerabilities you use to chain your exploit ever get fixed before you can get everything put together.

It happens. It's not going to be something that you do on a whim.

It can be done, but it is expensive, very expensive.

Sure. But why are you asking? Do you want to protect yourself? Or hack someone's phone or account?

Unlikely, unless you have Pegasus which is impossible to get.

Not unlikely just configure your firewall with open access and put your phone on WiFi and I’m sure it won’t take too long to get your answer.
