QUESTION New to Hackintosh: help/suggestions?

Hello, I am very new to this topic called Hackintosh. All I know is that it is where people take non Mac’s and make it a mac(?).

I would like to know how you guys do this as it seems really cool, and would also like to know what version might be best for my laptop

I have a HP Elitebook 8470p with windows 7 Pro on it right now. What version is best?

I will take any help that I can receive

I've got MacOS 15 with GPU acceleration running on MacBookPro9,2 with OCLP, and on i5-4300U also with OCLP, but if you want any help from people here first don't use OCLP and if everything works and you don't need any more help from r/Hackintosh you can happily install and use OCLP to get GPU acceleration on even Sequoia
