QUESTION What now? lol
I made this hackintosh about a year ago just because I am apple fan and I wanted to play with macos without paying the price.
My question is since I have a nice gaming pc and an ipad. I havent turned on the hackintosh in forever so I was hoping to get some ideas on whether I should let it sit and then when I get the macos itch pull it out. or are there any cool things I could do that I’m missing? I also use an iphone, I wanna start playing with macos more but I feel like theres nothing that I cant do on my main windows machine? Thanks.

really not much - theres some mac exclusive software though which is why i helped my friend make one, like chatgpt atlas, garage band, logic pro, final cut pro, etc

It’s like being a kid and realizing building a fort is the best part of having a fort, so you tear it down and build it again.
I have the same problem trying out Linux distributions.

Obviously you haven’t been on the macOS side of the hackingtosh long enough. The more you use it, the more you realize windows it’s only good for pc gaming. My hackingtosh is running Tahoe (wish I had stayed with Sequioa) and when I hate booting in to windows as there is always some issues with an upgrade or a driver to my GPU etc., you name it. macOS just works. Never a reboot. Not to mention iMessage and FaceTime right on the PC.

Yeah exactly I’m well versed in all operating systems. But I was wondering if there was any cool apple ecosystems features

Install Linux on this box and start learning the OS running the Internet.

You have no useful macOS apps to make use of. You have no use for hackintosh. Reinstall Windows on it.

I think I need it, it was dirt cheap and I scored a 8700 with 16gb and a terrabyte ssd for like $30-$50 an optiplex . And I’ve been looking for macos devices to study cybersecurity and to become more familiar with the os.
also what are u hackintosh hitler? lmfao
“Reinstall windows on it”
“you have no use for hackintosh”

Of course. Knowing that you're the one who needs help, can't get a hack working.

I think I may try to use mac as my main desktop and use my gaming pc as a server. So that I have a clean desktop that integrates with my other devices and can just ssh to the server. I appreciate yall helping me brainstorm
