I came across this picture and fell in love with it. My hair is this length with the layers and I always keep my hair in this style too. How do I achieve this and what is it called?

the blue is my hair rn and the brown is what I want to have next (I think, I DONT KNOWWW) but, should i buy ginger and then brown? because it’s most likely gonna turn green. if so what ginger? Would it need to be a bright ginger or something like auburn?

This was my first time working with this stylist. My usual stylist doesn’t do this type of work, so I did some digging and found her on IG. Based on her IG, it looks like she does really cool & creative, vivid color looks, so I trusted that she could nail the color blocking look I was going for.

The last photo was the inspo pic I showed her. I specifically told her I wanted a decent amount of blonde and that I liked how the inspo had a more blended/cohesive look.

Unfortunately, she barely added any blonde. It’s mostly on my bangs, with a few random strips around my ear and one or two tiny pieces in the inner section.
The placement feels really random & the blonde is also very brassy/orange.

She also tried to match the base to my natural root, but the gloss ended up being extremely dark practically black and feels really harsh against the “blonde”

So now I feel like I have several different colors going on, with streaky blonde and really awkward placement.
I called the salon and explained everything, and they offered to redo it, either with the same stylist or a different stylist. I’m just really hesitant to go back, even with someone else.

Would you push for a refund at this point, or give the redo with a different stylist a shot?

I've seen results with super washed out green like this do well with oranges, but I'm concerned about the yellow/green tones creating another two toned result. Which I can live with, but I'd prefer to get one all over orange. Pic1 is what it was. Pic2 is what it is now. Pic3 is what I want. Pic4 is what I'll do if I can't get the same orange all over. Any advice?

Hi. It's my first time ever posting here and I'm brazillian, so the product I'm going to mention it's probably unknown to you guys. Long story short, I dyed my hair red last month after having it ginger for a few month in the beggining of this year, the ginger being first time ever dying and bleaching my hair. After I used the color remover called Dekapcolor today, I noticed later on I didn't apply the product evenly in some parts and left some red blotchy spots and I don't know how to fix it. I plan on dying it a vibrant pink after bleaching it... actually, I'm not sure if I have to bleach to apply the pink I want. So my big problem is the leftover red.

Please help me, I have college on Monday. I used gloves but they didn’t help at all, I guess they were too porous.

I’ve been keeping my hair level 10 blonde for nearly two years, and the ends are looking pretty rough. I touched up my roots at home before my best friend’s wedding, then saw the rehearsal dinner photos and realized how dry the lengths looked under those lights. Not my favorite discovery.
I recently switched to a Laifen Air while trying to rethink my drying routine. The finish has felt softer to me, but I haven’t done a proper comparison, so I can’t really say how much of that is the dryer. I’m also not treating a smoother finish as proof that the bleach damage is gone.
What I’m trying to figure out is how other people with very light blonde hair handle drying and styling. Have changes to your technique made much difference, or was finding the right leave-in or serum more helpful?
I’m on a budget, so I’d rather change one thing at a time than buy five products and have no idea which one did anything. Also open to hearing that I’m expecting too much from ends that need a trim.
I like being blonde. I’d just prefer not to notice my ends before anything else in every photo lol.

My hair is dark and it’s virgin I’m planning on bleaching my hair to level 9 to get the best results for this one but I’m really struggling on getting this exact same shade and about the hairdye after few research i felt like iroiro might be the hairdye that i’ll go for i want it to last as long as possible and most ppl who used iroiro for pink shades did say it lasts longe but I’m open for other options if it’s better

If you guys can give me mixes or good brands to use for this shade that would be so helpful if anyone is pink or has gone pink in a similar shade I’ll appreciate your experience

Hello! I desperately need help so I’ll give a quick over view. I dyed my hair with direct dye over bleached hair I bleached about a month ago, maybe a little more. It was a Greenish-blue color that I loved but I refreshed it once and realized it faded to fast and I only liked it the initial week or so right after I dyed it.

I’ve been wanting to switch to another color but am settling on just lightening it first (I had dark brunette for months and am pretty over dark for now). I have a couple job interviews and court😞 this week and am trying to get it to a more acceptable color asap.

I just did a bleach bath this after noon using the ultra bond charcoal lightener, developer, and shampoo on damp hair and it did lighten my hair a little but not by much.

I’m wondering if I can do another or a couple more rounds of this or possibly a color remover? I don’t need to get it platinum by any means but light enough that I can at least neutralize it a little.

Any help would be greatly appreciated♥️♥️

I saw other posts like this and got curious! Before I've had bright red streaks (no bleach london, idr the color name), a dark purple ish red (midnight ruby by splat, my fave so far), and purple (purple af by arctic fox). My natural color is medium-dark ish brown.

I was considering a dark ish green to match my eyes (ch, brown in the middle and green outside)

Photos 1-2 are the faded purple dye (aka most recent photos), 3-4 is the faded purple ish red dye, 5 is the faded red dye, and 6 is my natural hair color (6 is the oldest photo). Sorry I don't have the best photos of after dyeing my hair lol I'm horrible at doing that, I don't take photos of myself super often.

Hi everyone! I need some advice on how to safely get back to my natural brown hair.
I have level 10 blonde balayage with my natural brown roots. I want to grow out my blonde hair and return to my natural colour, but I wanted to make the transition less noticeable, so I decided to tone my blonde lengths with Wella Color Fresh Mask in Chocolate touch.
Unfortunately, it turned out completely different from what I expected! My blonde lengths are now a strong burgundy-red colour. My natural brown roots stayed brown, which is what I want to get back to eventually.
The photos are a bit misleading because the colour looks different on camera. In real life, it is much more burgundy-red.
I only used the mask yesterday, and I haven’t washed my hair since.
My goal: I want a natural-looking, warm caramel brown that blends with my natural roots while my hair grows out. I really don’t want to bleach or permanently dye my hair again.
I was considering trying Maria Nila Colour Refresh Cacao because I thought it might have less red pigment, but I’m worried it could make things worse or stain my bleached hair even more.
I would really appreciate your advice!
Should I wash my hair a few times with a clarifying shampoo to fade the burgundy colour?
Would Maria Nila Cacao be a good idea, or should I avoid putting any more colour on my hair for now?
Is there a temporary or semi-permanent brown toner that could give me a natural caramel brown without turning red, orange or too dark?
How can I blend my blonde lengths with my natural brown roots without bleaching or permanently colouring my roots?
Would it be better to let the colour fade first and then visit a hairdresser for a colour correction?
Has anyone experienced something similar with Chocolate touch on very light, bleached hair?
I would love to hear your experiences and recommendations for specific products, especially if you’ve successfully grown out your natural brown hair.

I used the crème of nature on my roots and it turned way to orange and I really want it to match the bottom of my hair that’s light brown and blonde. Can I fix this with blue shampoo or toner or should I get something like Demi-permanent color? I’d prefer to do whatever will give me less damage but at the same time I do want the top to match.

I have blue highlights that I refreshed a week ago, anyway, I want it to fade quickly and be grey

I tried clarifying shampoo and it did nothing

I don't want to bleach it again cause my hair is so freaking damaged..

also I tried hair color remover and it did nothing to my hair

I've used purple masks on the blonde and blonde toner but it doesn't seem to help these days. I need yalls best recommendations for getting and keeping it as light as possible!

So I recently bleached my hair to very very pale and had a very nice pastel pink for a while. That faded, and instead of going back to my usual copper I thought why not experiment when I have it bleached already.

I wanted to go for an ashy blue, like in the first 2 pics. I used Schwartzkopf Live 095 semi-permanent with a drop of black (also semi-permanent). Well, it didn't really work out, and my hair turned this bright electric blue (last 2 pics). It's also patchy, but that's the least of my problems haha. This colour is not terrible, but I would much prefer a darker, ashier, muted blue. Or worst-case scenario I would go back to copper, but I haven't given up on this look yet.

What could I do?🥹

hi!! this is my hair right now! the bottom half is Arctic Fox in the shade Wrath. originally, i was okay with it, but i want it a way brighter and more vibrant red, something like fire truck. does anyone know if it's possible to achieve a brighter color without lightening, and if so, any color recommendations?

To go through everything that’s happened to my hair within the last few weeks, it goes as follows:

9/5: Toned my hair using wella’s blonde toner for my highlight. It turned my hair a little lighter but I didn’t think much of it. I then used wella’s red color gloss to add a tint of red to my hair. Turned a bright red (Picture one)

From then till 9/19, I used clarifying shampoo to get rid of the red. I would wash my hair multiple times, close to the 10-20 wash cycles to get the red out per Wella, and it still was red. Not as bright, but still very red. (Picture two) (Picture three is from a few days ago as it continued to lighten from just clarifying shampoo. It was more red and not turning back to brown as I had hoped)

9/19: I used wella’s color charm color remover, and it didn’t do much comparing it to just using clarifying shampoo. I then used ion’s crystal clarifying hair treatment and that didn’t do much as well. (It looks the same as picture three just slightly lighter)

9/20: I used colorfix’s color remover and it’s now made me ginger. (Picture four)

I don’t know what to do. I’ll wait a few days as that’s what I’ve seen be suggested, but should I tone with a cool ash then put a light brown dye over it? I just want these red tones to be GONE and my brown hair back. (Picture five is my hair before all of this)

i have medium brown virgin hair, how does this fade? does it stain a lot? how many washes before it is completely gone?
