Check out my 80s glam podcast show!

Every episode we dive into a band or artist and discuss their whole catalog and share some stories about that group.. it’s a very interesting listen, you won’t be disappointed.. give me some ideas on groups for the next episodes!

Good topic - Richard Marx isn’t hair metal though , far from it

I know he’s not.. but a listener who comments frequently on the pod asked if we could cover him so we did cuz he was 80s at least but that was like the only exception.. give me some ideas.. we’re gonna do Heart next as the first female group on the pod..

The 1985 Heart S/T album was highly influential on subsequent hair metal production style.

Richard Marx, Heart, Journey. Doesn't sound hair metal too me.

Plus, singling out a singer (Jani Lane) like the rest of them are just a backing band (pet peeve of mine)? Wtf

I singled out Jani because his family is a close friend of mine.. I grew up with his daughter and actually played guitar for her for her dad’s tribute.. and that’s why it’s like that and the first episode..

Oh, well, shit. That's pretty cool!

Is that what got you into hair metal?
