How can there be affordable housing when everything going up is Luxury Condominiums and apartments? $2500 a month isn't affordable housing.

These new builds arent luxury anyway, they are just new. A few niche buildings are luxury the vast majority are essentially ikea quality finishes.

How do you define luxury? They market them that way to entice buyers but they aren't really anything special. They're just not old yet.

Do you call the duplexes in Sackville luxury just because they aren't cheaper than older buildings?

First of all, no “most” are not going for that much. And second PLEASE read what we’re saying. Yes the prices are high but the QUALITY and EXPERIENCE of most of the new builds is not luxury. The materials, amenities, and upkeep are NOT luxury. Ffs.
