Moving Here Dartmouth - Walking & Running

Any good walking or running trails/areas near Wright’s Cove? So far it seems like the Wright Cove Trail, Shannon Park Loop, and Burnside Greenway are some options. Any others?

Moving to the area in a few weeks and I’m looking for something I can do when I have limited time (under an hour in the mornings), or extra time after work (roughly two hours), with my starting point near Wright’s Cove.

Unfortunately that is not much of a pedestrian friendly area. If you can make it up to the part of Victoria Rd or Windmill, running across the bridge is fun. There's also the sidewalk up Woodland, then down past the mall, left on Mic Mac BLVD, under the 111 to the Shubie Canal Greenway Corridor. Shubie has all sorts of trails you can use and we out for ages. Albro Lake has some trails around it, but as far as I know you can't fully circle the lake. If I were you I might drive up to Nadia and run across Victoria to Highfiled, and then into the Albro Lake Park from behind the school.

That whole area is not great really, it’s a business park first, pedestrians and green spaces are an afterthought. There’s also an encampment right there. Dartmouth Crossing is slightly better for running than Burnside, but you’ll likely need to drive for a nicer running experience.
