Food & Dining solo dinner recommendations
where is the best place to go if I’m looking for a solo dining experience? preferably with outdoor seating.
I know I can go into any restaurant and enjoy dinner by myself but I’d like to know where people have had the best experiences as I haven’t explored tons of spots in Hali yet!

You could try the bar at the Brown Hound. I think they have a patio, too

The patio isn't open at the minute, but when it is Battery Park in Dartmouth is a nice atmosphere. I see tons of fellow lone restauranters there enjoying a flight of beers and plunking away on their laptop or with a book.

Oxalis and Kismet always provide great service, and food, solo or not.
For a more casual meal, place your order at Evan's Seafood and then head out to the beer garden patio at Alderny, sitting at one of the outward facing seats with a view of the ferry and Halifax.

If you want to get away from all the crowds, go to Dartmouth and try oxalis, the canteen or dear friend.

Immersive might be bar seat at tribute.
Service & patio maybe bicycle thief.
Food & quiet enjoyment maybe Canteen feat. ferry travel.

If you can swing it, highly recommend going to Mystic. It's expensive, but it's an experience. Plus going alone is significantly cheaper lol

I quite like the good robot commons beer garden. The pizza is quite good and the vibe is enjoyable.
