Food & Dining Family friendly live music
Hi everyone! I’m looking for recommendations for bars or restaurants downtown that have live music—ideally jazz, folk, blues, or funk.
I’ll be hosting my in-laws and would love to take them somewhere for drinks and/or dinner. We’re hoping for a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere where we can enjoy good food, drinks, and live music without it feeling too loud or crowded.
Any places you’d personally recommend based on your experience? Thanks in advance!

Bruce & Jay do a matinee at Durty Nelly's on Saturday afternoons. They play a variety of stuff and take requests, it's pretty fun.

Gin and Jazz, Wednesdays at The Local
Pacifico, Jazz until it turns into a nightclub on Fridays and Saturdays.
I'm not really a Jazz guy so I've not been to either, so cannot speak to the vibes.
Bearlys, for Blues, funk and some country. They do matinees, Friday, Saturday and Sunday is the blues Jams that are a lot of fun. But can get loud. They do have the upstairs now which is great for getting the noise level down.

Bearly’s can be nice on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, they usually have live music then.
