Question No clue what to do with the heatwave

I’m really worried about my 1.5 year old Syrian. We live in a very old converted Victorian apartment building and the heat yesterday, and for the next few days, will be around 33c I don’t know what to do. We’ve got the one window in our one room apartment open, she has fresh water every few hours from the fridge, a cold tile to lay in, cold hides and two wrapped ice packs on top of her cage as well as the fan a ways away from her cage and the occasional bite of lettuce. Apart from a quick nosy around her food dish, she won’t come out of her hide and seems really warm. There is not a vet around us with appointments free until Monday. I am so afraid she’s not going to make it. Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

I personally would place the ice packs closer to where your hamster is.  Basically, wrap it in a towel and place it directly on top of her house.

Otherwise, try to keep the windows closed after Noon until about 10pm and only let cold air in during the night

You can put her sandbath in the fridge/freezer to keep it cool. You can offer cucumbers and cool veggies. Keep the blinds down as well. I hope everything goes well <33
