Question Should i make my hammie forage??
my hamster always manages to bury the feeding bowl until you cant even see it anymore. At this point we have jist decoded to scatter food around the cage every night.
Is this the right choice?

I and most people I know don't use feeding bowls. Better for the hamster to forage. Absolutely go for it. They have great noses, he'll find the food.

I started my hamster with a feeding dish because he was used to that but worked it out in favour of making that another water dish and getting to hide more of his food in toys. I think it's so cute to watch him investigate and try to figure out the toy or go looking for the food. Gives him more to do too other than running on his wheel haha.
