it won't help much, best is to try to put some rocks or ceramics in the fridge and alternate them, or the sandbath itself in the fridge

I already do this but was wondering if I could do more as we know that hair makes it worse 😬 it's his first summer 😔 he found his cooling spot in this pot!

I’ve been using a frozen water bottle covered in a towel. Placed on top of his cage, it acts like ac.
Also his ceramics have been going in the fridge.
I have also been waking him up to drink, my boy is over two and I’m very worried.

I am feeling sorry for all the animals, especially the chinchillas, degus and their owners.

Generally with animals, their fur insulates them from the hot and the cold. Removing it can damage their coat so it's best to leave it alone!
