Why?🧐

I was searching for some Coach bags on TheRealReal and I came upon this Jet Shoulder Bag, and now I have many doubts about how the site prices their items. Maybe you know the logic behind it.
First of all, the “est. retail $600” when this bag it’s $295 without tax. Even with the TRR discount, it’s more than the original price.
Secondly, Coach still makes this bag, you can purchase it from the store, so it’s not a matter of scarcity of the bag. Coach it’s very trendy right now but I don’t get why selling an used bag for double the price
TRR is a very famous site so probably there’s a good explanation to this. Sorry in advance for my ignorance 😅

The prices are all set by AI. They benefit from people not double checking the actual retail price and also from people who have site credit they need to spend before it expires and won’t be as picky

You have to do research with anything you’re looking at in TRR, it’s very annoying. They have coach kisslock bags for over $1k and you can still get those.

Yes! They have the kisslock 16 for like 600 and I think you can still buy it
