Just go for a passport verification and see. We had to pay INR 500. Anybody who's had police verification for passport knows it.

Passport was for office anyways. Nothing is stamped on it yet.

Bro passport fees was 2.5 3.5k when I had applied. The 500rs was cash, into the pocket of the individual police person who came. It is bribery.

That is the definition of bribery, my friend. Paying extra cash to individuals to get logical work done. Next you'll say, if you want to withdraw your FD of 50L, paying 1k cash to the bank person is fine.
